Service Consultant responsibilities include scheduling repair appointments, greeting customers in service lanes, generating estimates, writing repair orders, and following up with the customer.

Qualified candidates must have the following:

  • Strong listening & communication skills

  • Commitment to customer service

  • Be very detail oriented

  • Experience in a leadership role

  • Previous success in resolving customer service issues

  • A high level of professionalism and courteousness

  • A desire to be in the automotive industry

The following qualifications are a plus:

  • A minimum of 2 years retail management experience

  • Knowledge of vehicle repairs and warranty work

  • Continued education (AA, BS, Automotive Degree)

  • Open to relocation for future growth.

The Commercial Engines Aftermarket Operations organization is searching for a Customer Service Analyst to help support the Customer Service Lead on processes and strategies across our global customer support network of engine centers and repair units. In this role, you'll utilize data analytics to support performance opportunities and will work with the Aftermarket teams across the network to provide key statistical insights to help 'shine the light' for Customer Business Reviews, Market Feedback Analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives and action plans. Additional responsibilities to include, but not limited to: * Support Customer Business Unit Reviews * Support the Aftermarket Operations Market Feedback Analysis (MFA) strategy and process * Perform MFA analysis and support action planning process * Quality Clinic Process Chart (QCPC) collection to prevent turn back recurrences * Support the creation of standard work for best practice sharing * Cross train with team members to maximize group adaptability * Work cross functionally with AMO site contacts and function groups on performance analysis and action planning * Support the execution of a worldwide Customer Service forum This position also requires skills in communication, business analytics and decision support processes to the AMO site contacts. This unique position will evolve based on your experience and the business needs. This position may be called upon to assist engine centers and repair units on site, as needed. Do you have the experience in customer service, operations, and customer support as well as familiarity with the aftermarket engine repair and overhaul business? Do you meet these Basic Qualifications? * You've obtained a Bachelor's Degree (required). Preferred fields of study include Business, Supply Chain, Engineering or Finance * U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Status (Green Card Holder) required * Minimum 2 years of experience in Operations, Account Management, Customer Support, Sales, Business Development, or Supply Chain within a corporate environment How about any of these Preferred Qualifications? * Advanced Degree or MBA is preferred * 3 years of experience in Account Management or Operations within the Aerospace or Gas Turbine Aftermarket industry * Familiarity with Aftermarket engine disassembly and re-assembly process and repair station environment is helpful * Demonstrated analytical skills and quantitative thinking in solving business problems with statistics. Knowledge of Financial reporting helpful * Expert written and verbal skills with ability communicate in a straightforward manner. Excellent interpersonal skills and cultural awareness * Six-Sigma, Continuous Improvement, or Achieving Competitive Excellence (ACE) Associate Certification is preferred along with a proven track record of cost savings and continuous improvement accomplishments * Executive presentation experience and comfortable interacting with senior executive leadership * You are comfortable working Microsoft Office programs including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
