Position Title Service Center Customer Service Representative Department Service Center Job Location Crete, NE (68333) Purpose of Job
Our Customer Service Representatives provide excellent customer service and first-level technical support for the Doane University community. We provide technology support and general information assistance via phone, web, and in-person directly to end-users from our service desk located in the Learning Commons and Service Bureau.
General Description and Duties
Answer the phone in a professional and courteous manner.
Basic connection, printer, and basic computer troubleshooting/maintenance
Be willing to learn/try something new.
Check email, create tickets with information, and route to the correct technical team.
Interview customers in regards to their issues/requests with directed questions.
Perform installation, configuration, maintenance, and optimization of hardware, software, and peripherals for our students, faculty, and staff.
Politely respond to the customer's problem and convey a resolution either by resolving it at first contact or escalating it to the next level of support
Provide end-user training and support where required
Schedule installations and service visits
Unlock AD account/Reset AD password/Walk a customer through the steps
Use our Ticketing system, Google, and other Doane University software
Attendance is required for the Spring Student Leader Summit
Special Skills or Knowledge Required
Active student at Doane University in Crete
Basic Customer Service Skills
Microsoft Office knowledge preferred
Total Weekly Hours Required $12/hour, up to 17 hours a week available Physical Demands
Hours are available during the following times:
Monday
Thursday 8am
11pm
Friday 8am
Saturday 1pm
Sunday 2pm
