Working as our Service Cashier, you would be the face and voice of our department! Dealing with top-notch customer service in person and over the phone to our clientele is very important to our operations! The ideal candidate would have a strong commitment to customer service and work ethic.

Service Cashier Job Responsibilities

• Greet customers in a friendly and professional manner as they arrive at the service department.

• Process service orders accurately and efficiently using our dealership's computer systems.

• Collect payments from customers for services rendered, ensuring accuracy in transactions.

• Handle cash, checks, and credit card transactions securely and in accordance with company policies.

• Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries from customers regarding service appointments, pricing, and billing inquiries.

• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cashier area and ensure all necessary supplies are stocked.

• Collaborate with service advisors and technicians to ensure seamless customer service experience.

• Provide assistance to customers with any questions or concerns related to their service experience.

• Positive attitude and willingness to go above and beyond to exceed customer expectations.

• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

Service Cashier Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Previous experience in a cashier or customer service role, preferably in an automotive or retail environment.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.

• Proficiency in computer systems and familiarity with cashiering software is preferred.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
