Position Overview

The Service Cashier/Administrator is responsible for processing payments for work completed or purchase of parts requests, proper reconciliation of repair orders and parts invoices, and the collection of money from Parts and Service transactions in the dealership.

What are the day-to-day responsibilities?

  • Inspect every service repair order and/or parts invoice for proper completion and accuracy

  • Reconcile the repair orders by transferring the appropriate information from each repair order hard copy to the soft copies

  • Calculate the materials charge applicable for each order

  • Calculate the taxes to be charged on the categories of goods or services taxed in the local area

  • Collect the total retail charges from the customer in cash, check or authorized charge account

  • Provide the customer with the proper change and/or receipt

  • Complete the accounting section of the repair order as directed by the controller

  • Update the customer's service history file according to the procedures specific to the department's service history system

  • Deliver to the accounting department all repair orders and parts invoices closed during the business day

  • Control the keys associated with completed repair orders, return keys to the customer/or porter when bills are paid, and direct customers to where they may find their vehicle

  • File repair orders as directed by the service department manager

  • Answer the service department telephone, transfer calls to the people requested or best suited to take the calls, and take written messages when the needed personnel are not available

  • Control and turn into the business office any sublet bills associated with the repair orders

  • Ensure that customer complaints are handled promptly, with genuine concern and according to dealership guidelines

  • Report to management any situation or condition that jeopardizes the safety, welfare, or integrity of the dealership, it's employees, or customers

  • Perform any other administrative tasks as directed by management

What are the requirements for this job?

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Ability to read, write, add, subtract, divide and comprehend written instructions and information

  • 6-12 months previous work experience (preferred)

  • Demonstrated customer service skills

  • Demonstrated communication and interpersonal skills

  • Previous industry experience (preferred)

  • Ability to operate an automobile

CRI is currently seeking an entry level IT Administrator member to support the CRI offices located in the Orlando/Tampa Florida areas. The qualified candidate would physically work from the office location closest to their residence, with required travel to other office locations on an as-needed basis. Complete Description: The IT Administrator is responsible for installing/configuring, and operating/maintaining IT Systems hardware and software and providing end-user support. The Administrator will install new/rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements; Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of all hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups; Maintain installation and configuration procedures; Contribute to and maintain system standards; Identify approaches that leverage our resources and provide economies of scale; Apply OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis, and upgrade administrative tools and utilities; Configure/add new services as necessary; Perform ongoing performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required; Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required; Perform daily backup operations, ensuring all required file systems and system data are successfully backed up to the appropriate media, recovery tapes or disks are created, and media is recycled and sent off site as necessary. Occasional travel and after-hours maintenance and on-call support is required. CRI utilizes remote support technologies to minimize travel requirements by IT personnel. Minimum Requirements: In-depth expert knowledge and experience with Microsoft Server and Desktop OS's and application suites is required. Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work independently with minimal supervision, with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail are also required. Essential qualifications include: the ability to quickly adapt to new situations, a strong commitment to a team environment, a willingness to learn new technologies, the ability to deconflict requests/requirements, and the ability to establish, maintain, and follow documented processes and procedures. Preferred Requirements: Experience with the following will be considered a plus: Windows operating systems, Virtualization (VMWare), and Active Directory interface. Special consideration will be given to applicants experienced with SQL, JAVA and .net technologies. Applicants having a MCP and higher certification along with experience of Autonomy iManage Document Management will be given high priority.
