Primary Responsibilities

The Service Analyst is a critical role in our current and future state operations.The Insurance Service Analyst willfacilitate the receipt, analysis and processing of inbound correspondence including orchestrating distribution of service forms and incoming payments to our case management team. This role will also handle the disbursement of payments and execution of outbound communications in response to servicetransactions for Bank Owned Life Insurance (BOLI), Corporate Owned Life Insurance (COLI), and retail insurance policy transactions. The Service Analyst will also assist in the development of process improvements to reduce manual processing and move to systematic transaction processing.

This position will report directly to the Institutional Life Business Services Team Manager and will serve as the primary analyst for correspondence management. Responsibilities of the role include:

  • Daily processing of incoming and outgoing mail, including:

  • Facilitate mailing of policy confirmations and statements

  • Scan and index incoming mail into an automated workflow (AWF) system to distribute work for case management

  • Produce and mail policyowner bills and statements

  • Process client requested changes to address, owner and policy beneficiaries

  • Handling of inbound and outbound wire transfers

  • Monitor and report all incoming wire transactions to initiate case management acceptance

Participation on special project teams , including:Assisting in the transition of manual processes into automated processes as part of a large scale department modernization program

Requirements of the role include:

  • Minimum of 2 years of relevant work experience

  • Bachelors degree preferred

  • Strong analytical skills

  • Must be able to work independently, as well as being a strong team player

  • Has strong customer service skills

  • Ability to prioritize and multi-task in a fast-paced environment

  • Passion for learning and improving the business

  • Must have or obtain NASD Series 6 within first year

  • Must have or complete LOMA courses 1 and 2 within first year

Provide support in Credit Administration with the review and analysis of borrower/guarantor financial information. Responsibilities * Complete training to perform credit analysis for commercial credits with the expectation that progress will be made towards performing credit analysis independently. * Provides accurate and consistent loan portfolio management and monitoring including but not limited to the analysis of Borrowing Base Certificates, collateral positions, ongoing covenant testing and post-closing quality control review as it relates to the commercial loan portfolio. * Analyze and assess financial statements and credit history of existing and potential clients. * Provide additional support to the credit department as it relates to special projects as assigned. * Comply with all credit administration policies and procedures. * Prepare ad hoc reports as requested. * Complete Vendor Reviews for the bank as a whole. * Progress towards RMA's Credit Analysis Certificate, if not already earned. * Maintain the highest level of confidentiality of all information. * Create and maintain favorable relationships throughout the Bank, as well as with all existing clients, new clients, outside regulatory agencies and other related key resources. * Comply with all Bank policies and procedures; support and uphold the Bank's vision, values and mission. * Interact with internal and external clients while providing extraordinary service. * Develop and maintain trusted, positive relationships with employees, clients and vendors. * Represent the Bank and Credit Administration team in a highly professional manner. * Complete job assignments in a professional, timely and efficient manner; organize and prioritize work. * Maintain confidentiality; adhere to CrossFirst Bank policies and procedures; comply with laws, regulations and industry best practices. * Reliable and predictable attendance. Qualifications * Knowledge of financial statements. * PC experience in a Windows environment, Word, and advanced spreadsheet experience on Excel is required. * Effective verbal, written & interpersonal communication skills. * Basic understanding of credit analysis and financial statements. * Ability to read and comprehend credit write-ups & loan documentation. * The fully qualified candidate will possess a four-year degree, preferably in Finance, Accounting or Business or equivalent work experience.
