Central Power Systems & Services (CPS&S) is the only authorized distributor for Allison Transmissions, Detroit Diesel, MTU and Mercedes engines in Kansas, Missouri and Northern Oklahoma. CPS&S has been serving the Commercial Equipment needs in Midwest with top quality On-Highway, Industrial and Power Generation products and services since 1954.

If you are ready to make a difference Central Power Systems & Services is seeking an experienced Service Advisor at our Liberty, Missouri location!

  • Prioritize repair orders for shop technicians

  • Communicate with customers regarding repair orders, cost of repairs, estimated time of repair, etc.

  • Communicate with team members regarding repair processes

  • Process repair order paperwork

  • Assist in management of ongoing work orders

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Experience working closely with Service Technicians and Customers, and successfully juggling multiple high priority tasks at one time

  • Good communications skills

  • Excellent customer service skills

  • Knowledge of automotive or Diesel Engine Parts

  • Knowledge of parts associated with a variety of truck makes and models

  • Supervisory experience

  • Experience with Repair Orders (creating and closing) in system

As MHC continues to grow, we have an opening for a Service Advisor. The role of the Service Advisor is to insures that customers are greeted openly and friendly; coordinates customer repair requests; estimate cost of repairs within set guidelines; assists Service Manager with clerical duties, such as documentation required for warranty, policy settlements, repair order filing and repair preparation for warranty. * Coordinate customer repair orders with Service Manager and Shop Foremen for task assignment. * Coordinate with Foremen for proper work scheduling of all shop business. * Insure customers receive the most expedient service available through questioning and understanding repair requests. * Work with Service Manager to ensure timely action taken and settled in areas of disputes and warranty. * Assure all documentation necessary for sale of labor (customer, internal and warranty) are complete and properly executed. * Input repair order information to data processing system and close repair orders. * Maintain and administer shop tool and supply requirements and status. Qualifications * CDL (preferred). * Minimum 4 years of experience in related field. * Computer experience (preferred) * Strong customer relations and communication skills. * Good leadership abilities. * Must have a positive can-do attitude.
