Job Description:


  • The Service Advisor is responsible for scheduling service work in the service department and for selling additional needed service to customers.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Schedules service appointments. Obtains customer and vehicle data prior to arrival when possible.

  • Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner.

  • Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts. Establishes "promised time".

  • Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promise time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.

  • Test-drive the vehicle or refer to the test technician as necessary.

  • Maintain Customer Satisfaction Index rating at least comparable to that of the manufacturer, zone or branch average.

  • Advise customers on the care of their cars and the value of maintaining their vehicles in accordance with manufacturers' specifications, using maintenance menus.

  • Maintains a dealership-prescribed standard for "hours per customer repair order written."

  • Understands and follows federal, state and local regulations, such as those governing the disposal of hazardous wastes, OSHA right-to-know, etc.

  • Follows all company safety policies and procedures, and immediately report any and all accidents to a manager or supervisor.

Commercial Support Clerk ADM's Chattanooga, TN and Cleveland, TN facilities produce soft, hard, and spring wheat flours for bakeries and mixing facilities. You will gain a deep understanding of the dynamics of the business and priorities of the company. We are looking for a detail-oriented individual to perform a variety of administrative duties while working in connection with supervisory staff in Operations, Quality, Sales, and Commercial teams. This position is based out of the Chattanooga, TN location. Responsibilities: * Assist Commercial Manager by providing clerical support and customer service for the Chattanooga, TN flour mill and Cleveland, TN flour mill * Manage open orders and address in timely manner * Invoice shipped orders in timeframe outlined by Commercial Manager * Perform end of the month tasks for accounting purposes * Review daily position entry and enter daily production report * Maintain office filing system (including record retention) in paper and electronic formats * Assemble and coordinate the preparation of shipping/receiving documents * Process inbound and outbound mail for facility and answer incoming phone calls * Resolve/correct order and grain processing system discrepancies * Assist with accounts payable for location vendors through Maximo and Coupa * Ensure confidentiality on all matters related to commercial and operations * Perform back up duties during co-worker absence (cross-training) * Perform other miscellaneous clerical duties as assigned Requirements: * Ability to prepare administrative paperwork, analyze and tackle problems, organize and coordinate, champion a collaborative work environment, and maintain efficient office workflow * Commitment to continuous learning * Track record of exceptional achievement with a demonstrated desire and ability to proactively take on challenging work * Excellent organizational and time management skills with strict attention to detail and follow-up * Willing to handle diverse activities and concurrent projects with the ability to prioritize * Effective oral and written communication skills and ability to cordially relate and maintain positive working relationships with people at all levels inside and outside of the organization under sometimes stressful circumstances * Important competencies include commitment, dependability, flexibility, follow through, listening, openness in communicating, problem solving, respect for others, supportive and team focus * Commitment to be a positive and professional team member with regular, prompt attendance * High school diploma and minimum of two years' experience in an administrative support role * Strong computer capability with Microsoft Outlook, Excel, and Word (experience with Agris, Maximo or Coupa is a plus) ADM is an equal opportunity employer and makes employment decisions without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, age, disability and veteran status.
