The Engineer is a project manager, working directly with customers to implement, maintain, and troubleshoot their whole systems onsite. The Engineer is also a problem solver, working remotely (over the phone) to resolve a variety of customer systems and network problems. The position demands deep expert knowledge in newer server technologies, windows systems, and networks. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Document all customer interactions and resolutions in VLCM's ticketing system. Serve as a customer advocate to ensure that issues resolve quickly and efficiently. Alert and advise customers around critical issues and software updates. Invest in ongoing self-development to acquire industry-relevant skills necessary to satisfy your customer's needs. Perform other duties as assigned. Develop working knowledge of the VLCM suite of professional services.
