  • Respond to technical service hardware repair requests on enterprise-level servers, storage sub-systems and drives and networking devices at client locations in the area.

  • Resolve clients' questions or problems in the areas of product functionality and technical troubleshooting.

  • Serve as primary support liaison between company and customer.

  • Performs installs, moves, adds and changes as required

  • Troubleshoots and repairs/replaces hardware components on enterprise servers, mainframe, storage-subsystems and drives

  • Takes responsibility for additional follow-up, testing and troubleshooting services or problem escalation.

  • Maintains a high degree of professionalism in actions, demeanor and dress.

  • Ensures a high level of customer satisfaction throughout the service delivery transaction.

Technical and Behavioral Skills

  • High school diploma or GED required

  • Background investigation and drug screen required

  • 2 or more years of experience in a field service support role providing break/fix hardware repair for server and storage systems such as Dell, HP or IBM servers, Cisco networking, and Hitachi or EMC storage arrays.

  • Must have valid driver's license and reliable vehicle with appropriate insurance (required)

  • Ability to troubleshoot and repair enterprise-level software and hardware issues. Excellent problem solving skills where problems may be complex or hard to diagnose.

  • Strong oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills to work effectively with internal and external customers

  • A+, HP, Cisco, Dell and EMC certifications are highly desired

  • Must be available for after-hours on-call rotation

  • Must be available for varying shifts on a rotating basis.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES: * Maintains credentialing by the Medical Director. * Functions independently, once credentialed by the Medical Director. * Ability to assess emergency scenes. * Manages medical and trauma patients; directs co-workers, first responders,and bystanders. * Utilizes electronic communication including portable and mobile radios, electronic patient care records, and computer aid dispatching equipment. * Operates EMS vehicles under normal and emergency situations. * Operates standard equipment; such as stretchers, cots, patient care monitors, and standard diagnostic equipment. * Extricates persons from vehicles, bend and lift, and perform CPR for extended periods of time. * Handles extreme stress in crisis situations. * Reports for duty on time and when assigned. * Works with and under the direction of other agencies during regional emergency response incidents. * Have excellent written and verbal communication skills. * Readily complies with departmental and countywide policies and procedures. * Performs related special projects as assigned. * The physical demands and environmental factors listed below, as well as regular attendance, are also essential functions for this position. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: * Certified or licensed by the Texas Department of State Health Services as a Paramedic or eligible for credentials within 30 days of hire date (must not have state sanctions or disciplinary restrictions). * Knowledge of current principles and practices of emergency care at the basic and advanced levels. * Ability to provide emergency care at the Paramedic level under adverse conditions. * Must obtain system credentialing as required by the Medical Director. * Excellent oral and written communication skills. * Proficient with computer key board, use of word processing, and Computer Aid Dispatching (Mobile Data Terminal). * Must meet eligibility requirements to be granted access to systems used in performing essential duties. * Ability to type and enter data with appropriate speed and efficiency. * Must not have any Office of Inspector General's List of Excluded Individuals and Entities (OIG LEIE) sanctions/exclusions from employment with federal/state healthcare providers (such as or including WCEMS). * Non-disqualifying criminal history and OIG LEIE database background check. * Must maintain a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Record. * Must obtain a valid Texas driver's license.
