What You Will Be Doing

• Set up various styles of meals for events, including but not limited to sit down meals, buffet, and social setting

• Provide excellent guest service to each of the settings listed above

• Provide proper cleanup during and after an event

• Reads, understands, and carries out all instructions as outlined on BEO (Banquet Event Order), or as directed by management

• Serves and busses tables properly and timely

• Set up breaks and functions in a decorative and pleasing manner

• Complies with house rules and policies, and safety standards

• Perform other duties as assigned by management

• Assist guests with any special needs during their visit

• Sets up and takes down all types of banquet functions timely and accurately and in a variety of locations

• Other duties as assigned by management

How You Will Do It

• Knowledgeable about menu and wine selections and is able to describe them to guests

• Ability to project a professional appearance at all times

• Ability to have a professional, courteous, and friendly attitude towards guests and co-workers

• Knowledgeable in the cleanliness, correct use, and maintenance of all equipment and work areas

• Knowledgeable in hotel property and park venues and hours of operation

• High School diploma or equivalent.

What You Will Need

• Must be at least 18 years old.

• Must be able to stand, or walk for extended periods of time

• Individual must be able to communicate effectively in the English language, including the ability to read, speak, and understand the English language

• Ability to actively communicate with large groups of Guests and other co-workers within the outlet

• Be available to work flexible hours at nights and on weekends within the limits of applicable Federal, State and facility labor laws and guidelines

• Must be a friendly and outgoing team player.
