Overview
We are seeking the "best of the best" restaurant professionals who are passionate about food, elevated service, and beverage experiences. Our Food & Beverage team at Hotel Bardo Savannah is currently looking for a motivated and attentive server for our Coastal Italian restaurant Saint Bibiana. In this role, you will work with a team of hospitality partners who are dedicated to delivering an exceptional dining experience for our guests.
Responsibilities
Gain insight into guests' dining preferences through verbal and nonverbal cues
Ensure high quality and consistency of the guest experience
Speak eloquently about the hotel, restaurant, and menu
Collaborate and work cohesively with other team members
Handle challenges with poise with positivity
Make beverage and dining suggestions and describe the items to guests
Take and serve orders and answer all guest inquiries
Oversee table maintenance
Maintain the ambiance and standards of the restaurant and hotel at all times while on property
Qualifications
Hard-working team player with a positive attitude and strong attention to detail
Passionate about hospitality, food & beverage and possess a desire to learn
ability to multitask, and make decisions in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication skills
Excellent presentation and grooming standards
Wine and ServSafe certifications are a plus
Ability to endure abundant physical movement in various work areas
