Marvell's Server Processor BU is revolutionizing the computer server industry with next generation 64-bit ARMv8 ThunderX series Server Processor SoCs for data center, cloud and high-performance computing (HPC) applications. We are looking for a senior level hands-on person with extensive experience in firmware architecture and development life cycle with server platform bring-up firmware. Strong preference will be given to candidates with ARM server background. You will be responsible for all aspects of ARM64 SoC and server platform firmware bring-up, development and debugging and providing architectural guidance to engineering teams, in addition to performing customer requirements gap analysis and working with global customers and partners and cross functional teams. Minimum Qualifications:
- BS in Computer Engineering, Computer Science or equivalent with 15+ years of firmware architecture and development lifecycle experience preferably in the Server Industry. MS is preferred.
  • Hands on experience in ARM/Intel based Server platform hardware-firmware co-design and board bring-up experience with SoCs and/or Customer Reference Platforms.

  • Expertise in Server platform SoC firmware development including Processors, boot processor firmware, Memory (DDR/NVDIMM), PCIe, USB, I2C, SPI, UART, NVMe and so on.

  • Server Platform firmware/UEFI BIOS development experience with PEI, Security/ATF, Boot1, DXE, and boot loaders in C/C++, scripting languages.

  • Additional experience in Windows and Linux OS/Kernel driver and debugging skills.

  • Experience in working with cross functional teams and large customers and partners across the globe in different time zones.

  • Detail oriented and able to articulate and present to cross functional teams, executive management and customers.

  • Proven record of meeting tight deadlines without sacrificing quality and ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment. Additional Qualifications / Demonstrated experience in the following areas would be a plus:

  • Strong server platform firmware development experience preferably ARM64 SOC firmware development experience.

  • Use of GIT, Jira, Microsoft Office, cross platform development Experience on Windows and Linux Operating Systems.

  • Great analysis and problem-solving skills with a passion to learn and work on newer technologies.
