Ensures a seamless guest experience
Prepares table for service
Acts as the food and cocktail tour guide, making personal recommendations along the way
Possesses thorough knowledge of food and beverage menu in order to answer all questions from guests
Serves food, wine and beverages
Oversees all aspects of table service
Provides direct service to guests by taking orders for alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages
Delivers all requests from guests in a timely fashion
Maintains, clears, and resets table set ups
Inputs all orders into the POS system accurately
Ensures work area is in compliance with the Heath District health codes at all times
Must be able to handle cash quickly and accurately
Must be able to upsell
Keeps all stations stocked by polishing and distributing china, glassware, and silverware
Performs proper cash, comp, and check control procedures
Performs opening, running, and closing side work
Prefer a minimum of two (2) years experience as a Server in a contemporary dining restaurant
Must be at least 21 years of age or older
Has knowledge of food presentation, ingredients and preparation
Has the ability to handle money and operate a point-of-sale systems
Must have an exceptional personality and hospitality driven attitude
Must be a highly organized individual with the ability to handle numerous tasks at a time
Must be polished, professional, friendly, dynamic and able to multitask
Able to take initiative in a VIP driven and guest service focused environment
Maintains a "sense of urgency" attitude for the completion of responsibilities/tasks
Ability to work in a fast-paced, high pressure environment
Has excellent verbal and written communication skills
Dedicated and willing to go above and beyond
