The Sephora Manager's role is to understand the levers and indicators that affect the Sephora business and coach their team to deliver an amazing shopping experience for their clients.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for leading your team You've lead people before and know how important it is to a) provide your team frequent coaching / feedback, b) focus on differentiating performance across team members, c) empower your team to take control and make good decisions, d) set expectations with your team on what needs to be done and what successful performance looks like, e) find ways to motivate your team to do the best work of their lives, and f) sincerely recognize each and every team member for their individual contribution to the store's success.

  • Responsible for analyzing business performance You know the numbers. You know what they mean and what affects them on a daily basis. You review reports and any other information you can get your hands on to better understand how and why your business performs the way it does and then take action to make a difference.

  • Supports Talent Management process You actively search for talent for your store. You're quite comfortable hunting for great talent in the market and approaching them about opportunities. There's no grass that grows under your feet when it comes to finding talent for your openings.

  • Responsible for assisting clients You love interacting with new people as well as greeting old friends that come back into the store to find something new. You and your team do everything possible to put a smile on the client's face!

  • Supports the execution of the monthly animation You walk the floor with your team and other leaders in the store to plan for the upcoming design and set for new merchandise. You are well prepared to provide direction to supporting teams to ensure the client is going to have an engaging shopping experience.

  • Responsible for making visual merchandise decisions You have a keen interest in keeping the store clean and visually stimulating for our brands and ultimately our clients. You walk the floor and find opportunities to ensure all merchandise is being presented to visual standards and when it's notyou know just what to do.

  • People Skills You are outgoing and have no problem striking up a conversation with complete strangers. You like working with all types of clients and team members.

  • Business Analytics You like numbers and metrics and enjoy sharing your insight with others on how you and your team can affect them every day!

Offer your time and talent recruiting for the Minnesota Reading Corps and be more for these students. As a Member Mobilization Coordinator, you understand the importance of reading and national service. You will build community connections to recruit people to become Reading Tutors, and foster peer-to-peer connections that mobilize current/future AmeriCorps members to leverage their local networks to support program recruitment needs. We are currently recruiting for the 2019-20 program year with opportunities beginning in November 2019 or January 2020. Your commitment will be 40 hours per week. This is an AmeriCorps member position with the Minnesota Reading Corps. Although the earnings are modest, the rewards are great! You'll join an amazing cohort of Reading Corps members from all backgrounds and experiences. What to Expect * Recruit individuals to perform AmeriCorps service as Reading Tutors. * Support and coordinate a variety of projects; build professional experience in talent acquisition, volunteer coordination, and communications/ project management. * Develop and lead trainings, events, service projects, and outreach initiatives * Develop and maintain tools, systems, webpages, and training resources. * Evaluate new initiatives and strategies you develop to determine their effectiveness. * Increase organizational capacity to capture and publicize on-the-ground stories. * Assist Talent Acquisition/ Recruiter staff with ongoing applicant communication needs. * Receive training, professional development, and ongoing support from staff. * Be an ambassador of the program by sharing your experience with the wider community. Member Mobilization Coordinators receive perks including: * Stipend (paid every two weeks) - $608 * Education Award – $4,266 or $6,095 (depending on start date) for Tuition or Loans* Federal Student Loan Forbearance & Interest Repayment * Individual Health Insurance (premium 100% paid) * Child Care Assistance (based on family size and income) * The Segal AmeriCorps Education Award can be used to pay tuition or repay qualified student loans. Individuals 55+ may gift their award to their child, grandchild or foster child. What it Takes Great members come from all walks of life. No matter your experience and background, the most important qualification is a desire to serve your community. That said, you also need to meet the following minimum qualifications by the time you begin your service. * Have successfully completed at least one (but no more than three) term(s) of AmeriCorps service, preferably with the Minnesota Reading or Math Corps. * Are dependable and have a history of good attendance * Able to understand and follow instructions * Can set a pace and maintain a work schedule of 40 hours per week * Intermediate to advanced computer skills (like Microsoft Office Suite, database and software use, email, and internet) * Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills with English fluency * 18 years of age or older with a high school diploma or equivalent * A citizen, national, or lawful permanent resident alien of the United States* * Agree to and successfully complete a background check * Applicants who have received deferred action for childhood arrivals (DACA) through the U.S. Department of Homeland Security are not eligible to serve as AmeriCorps members at this time.
