Responsibilities

  • Responsible for analyzing business performance
  • You know the numbers. You know what they mean and what affects them on a daily basis. You review reports and any other information you can get your hands on to better understand how and why your business performs the way it does - and then take action to make a difference.
  • Supports Talent Management process
  • You actively search for talent for your store. You're quite comfortable hunting for great talent in the market and approaching them about opportunities. There's no grass that grows under your feet when it comes to finding talent for your openings.
  • Responsible for assisting clients
  • You love interacting with new people as well as greeting old friends that come back into the store to find something new. You and your team do everything possible to put a smile on the client's face!
  • Supports the execution of the monthly animation
  • You walk the floor with your team and other leaders in the store to plan for the upcoming design and set for new merchandise. You are well prepared to provide direction to supporting teams to ensure the client is going to have an engaging shopping experience.
  • Responsible for making visual merchandise decisions
  • You have a keen interest in keeping the store clean and visually stimulating for our brands and ultimately our clients. You walk the floor and find opportunities to ensure all merchandise is being presented to visual standards and when it's notyou know just what to do.

The Agent Manager is responsible for achieving assigned sales/membership growth targets through Independent Agents in his/her territory/territories. They may also sell additional/alternative products. If you are located in Lubbock or Amarillo TX, you will have the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: * Continually build and nurture our agents * Partner with the Agent Recruiting Manager to source and select candidates for agent positions to ensure a continual pipeline and sufficient base of agents to meet assigned sales/membership growth targets * Provide a structured on-boarding process, leveraging corporate contracting, certification and training processes, tools and systems * Organize involvement in formal and on-the-job training to ensure an accurate understanding of our products, compliance/policy requirements, sales processes, brand and value proposition messages and sales systems * Organize agent activities, leads and territories to ensure effective and efficient coordination across the territory * Act as a liaison between agent's and UnitedHealth Group sales process owners to ensure agents are appropriately set up and supported across their lifecycle. This includes, contracting, licensing/appointment, certification, training, enrollment administration, commission payment, agent servicing, etc * Drive production among the agents * Use data and insights to coach for optimal performance * Monitor sales results, trends and key performance indicators (KPI's) and hold representatives accountable for achieving targets * Conduct regular one-on-one meetings to review sales results/activities and provide feedback/coaching on opportunities for sales growth * Ensure Compliance: Ensure agents adhere to sales and marketing guidelines associated with Medicare regulations, partner expectations (e.g.; AARP) and company policies and procedures You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * 2 years of sales experience in the insurance, financial services or healthcare industry * Excellent communications skills both verbal and written * Strong technical/computer skills including Webex, Excel, Word, PPT, etc * Previous management experienced * Sales experience with Medicare and/or Medicaid products * Experience managing and independent sales distribution channel * Experience recruiting and training agents * Current Life and Health License for the state of Texas Careers at UnitedHealthcare Medicare & Retirement.
