Job Summary

Tetra Pak is currently seeking a Separator Application Engineer, who will be responsible for Technically sizing, configuring, quoting and order follow up of heat exchangers based on application and technical requirements.

The position is based in Vernon Hills, IL.

You may be required to travel 30 % of your time within United States and Canada

Tetra Pak is not considering applicants (Internal or External) who require International relocation to the United States.

What you will do

As a Separator Application Engineer you will:

• Possess and share expertise within separators to be used within food applications.

• Be aware of external expertise and competitors within relevant competence area.

• Translate market needs, technical requirements and budgets into sales and marketing opportunities.

• Size, configure, validate and quote separators based on technical specifications.

• Advise Tetra Pak Business Unit(s) and Services organization on current orders, project timelines such as shipping, start-up/commissioning and specific technical subjects during the warranty period.

• Leverage technical cooperation with Tetra Pak Services other partners to drive services solutions and revenue.

We believe you have

• Preferably experience within Processing Solutions or related field.

• Engineering or Food Science Degree.

• Understanding of production machinery within the food industry

• Commercial understanding.

• Team player and easy work across boundaries.

• Structured thinker and problem-solving mindset.

• Focus on the result and resilience.

• Have a continuous improvement mindset.
