Who You Are

2-4 years' experience in search engine marketing (SEO or PPC). Agency experience is a plus but not required. Acute strategic and analytical skills
Bachelor's or advanced degree in business, marketing or related field.
Independent self-starter with ability to multi-task in a highly energetic, fast-paced environment.
Strong project management/organizational skills.
Strong communication skills-verbal, written, and interpersonal.
Demonstrated proficiency in managing multiple SEO projects from implementation through execution.
Demonstrated ability to uncover SEO opportunities and execute on them to drive incremental results.
Mastery of SEO best practices; on-page, off-page, and technical.
Familiar with SEO software (Conductor Searchlight, Google Search Console, Screaming Frog, SEMRush).
Strong proficiency with web analytics tools (Google Analytics, Google Data Studio).
Experience with link building campaigns a plus.
Extremely capable with Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
What You'll Do
As an SEO Strategist, you'll be part of our Global Tools & Storage (GTS) team located in Towson, MD. We are looking for a self-motivated, highly competitive SEO Strategist to join our growing digital team. The SEO Strategist will pro-actively analyze, monitor, and execute on key SEO opportunities across our range of branded properties.
Reporting to the Sr. Search Engine Marketing Manager, this person will help to uncover organic search optimization opportunities, develop holistic SEO strategies for our brand websites, and work cross-functionally with copywriters, IT, front-end developers, and content managers to see ideas through execution, all while reporting on organic search success. Specifically, you'll:
Develop holistic SEO strategies across our range of brand websites.
Partner with IT, front-end developers, and content managers to implement on-page SEO optimizations.
Pro-actively analyze SEO performance using tools such as Conductor Searchlight and Google Search Console to uncover wins and opportunities on a regular basis.
Turn SEO opportunities into defined projects and see through to execution.
Perform periodic audits and routine keyword research to ensure brand websites are fully optimized.
Regularly report on keyword rankings and organic traffic performance across brand websites.
Write click-thru-worthy meta data for product and category pages.
Optimize product detail pages to ensure SEO effectiveness.
Evaluate competitor SEO performance and regularly report
Hold regular SEO lunch and learns to educate internal team members on SEO best practices and grow SEO competency within the organization.
Support Amazon SEO optimization efforts as needed.
