Job Brief:

We're looking for an SEO Specialist with a background in content and superior attention to detail. The ideal candidate has a passion for keyword research, content optimization, and keeping up with the latest search engines' algorithm updates. You must be excited to find creative solutions to interesting SEO challenges.

What You Will Do:

  • Research existing content performance, identify potential content ideas based on user search data and intent, optimize existing content around target keywords. You'll become an expert of on-page, off-page SEO concepts and be expected to analyze data to figure out new ways to further optimize our Websites.

  • Collaborate and communicate with other teams (e.g. content and analytics) in a way that produces positive SEO outcomes.

  • Determine SEO-friendly content topics and guide content creation based on SEO strategy.

  • Help management to shape research, publishing processes, and methodology development.

  • Compile and present SEO performance reports.

  • Help manage and communicate SEO changes to Marketing Leadership.

  • Develop and deliver concise KPI reports that deliver insights on performance, competition and opportunities to leadership.

  • Work in spreadsheets. We measure and track everything, so we need someone who doesn't mind living and breathing in data.

  • Contribute innovative ideas. We expect you to consistently present new ways to further improve the SEO of our Websites.

What You Will Need:

  • Familiarity with HTML and CSS.

  • Working knowledge of common SEO tools such as Search Console, Keyword Planner, Google Analytics, BrightEdge, SEMrush.

  • Experience of researching and optimizing content for SEO purposes.

  • Solid understanding of performance marketing, conversion, and online customer acquisition.

  • Working knowledge of Excel or comparable spreadsheet applications.

  • Project management skills (certification not required).

TOGETHER WE MAKE THE BIG AMBITIONS OF TOMORROW HAPPEN TODAY As a SEO & Web Content Specialist in Thales in United States, you will be responsible for supporting the management of the Content, User Experience, Conversion and Search Engine Optimization (SEO) for the web site and online presence of the Thales Cloud Protection and Licensing business and product portfolio. He/she supports efforts to ensure products/solutions are found on the web, drive web sites usability so that users easily find what they want with the fastest route, and ensure web site content is optimized for conversion. A week in the life of a SEO & Web Content Specialist: * You will support the dissemination of key content and product/ messaging across all relevant website channels working with teams across marketing and other internal teams. * You will assist in crafting the messaging and positioning for an online audience, and ensure that all content is represented across all relevant channels in order to increase brand awareness, evolve brand perception, deliver positive user experience, and ultimately positively impact all customer retention and acquisition efforts. * You will also assist with training other members of the organization on how to use social media channels, internal marketing platforms, and inbound marketing best practices to improve all marketing and sales efforts company wide. * You will assist review of all content in the corporate websiteensuring relevancy, current, presented effectively, and optimized for the lead generation process. You will also be responsible for executing upon our global SEO strategy by defining and managing keywords, content optimization, and back link building. * You will be responsible to assist in reporting metrics to gauge the effectiveness of our company's web presence, SEO progress, website lead funnel conversion, social marketing, and professional networking activities. * Plan, create, and manage PPC campaigns across a variety of channels * Keyword research and management to optimize bids (add PPC keywords and negative keywords) * Optimize bidding at keyword, placement, device, geographic, demographic, and other levels * Perform daily account management of PPC campaigns (review expensive under-performing keywords and ensure PPC campaign does not exceed weekly and monthly ad spend budget, maintain Quality Score, impression share and other important metrics) * Write engaging and concise copy to modify CTAs on ads to boost click-through-rates and landing pages to boost conversion rates * Monitor, evaluate, and present the performance of campaigns by generating weekly and monthly performance reports to clients analyzing trends, goals, opportunities, and other key performance indicators * Stay on top of search engine and PPC industry trends Additional responsibilities in the week: * Website Management/SEO (50%) - Assist in ensuring all content on the corporate website is relevant, up-to date, presented effectively, and optimized for the lead generation process. He/she will also be responsible executing upon our global SEO strategy by defining and managing keywords, content optimization, and back link building. * Reporting (15%)- he/she will be responsible for assisting in reporting metrics to gauge the effectiveness of our company's web presence, SEO progress, website lead funnel conversion, social marketing, and professional networking activities. * Creative Content Creation (15%) - based on established key messages, positioning and differentiators he/she will develop or edit content to include business thought-leadership messages on digital platforms. This will include the corporate website, microsites, and prioritized social marketing communities or campaigns including but not limited to blogs, LinkedIn (group discussions), SlideShare, Twitter, FaceBook, video sites, and other identified platforms. * Social Media (10%) - he/she will be responsible for the ongoing management of content disseminated across our various social media communities, including but not limited to, blogs, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google+, and Facebook. * Interactive Tool Development (5%) - he/she will assist in leading the effort to introduce new and innovative online marketing tools, both on our various sites and as standalone tools for marketing programs. * Team enablement (5%) - he/she will be responsible for helping to build training programs for key members of the team on how best practices for using our CMS and social media in their day to day work responsibilities.
