CDK Global is hiring an SEO / Earned Marketing Team Manager!

Position Summary

The Earned Marketing Team Manager (EMTM) is responsible for managing a team of Earned Marketing specialists (SEO analysts and Social Media Marketing specialists) who deliver ongoing customized digital marketing services to our clients. The EMTM will be responsible for managing their associate's compliancy to follow all departmental processes and company policies in providing the highest level of digital marketing services.

Responsibilities include the development of Earned Marketing strategies and overseeing the implementation of initiatives; Ensures that optimization opportunities are identified and initiatives taken to increase search engine ranking and directs search engine performance tracking and assesses search outcomes related to sites or advertising/marketing campaigns. Additionally, the EMTM selects, develops, and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function and will regularly review each associates performance and quality of work and goals attainment and manage their expectations and career development opportunities.

The ideal candidate has experience with complex technical implementations of product designs, has intimate understanding of content optimization strategy, has worked with a wide range of user experiences and audience acquisition paths, and is comfortable providing high level recommendations based on deep dives into data. As a member of the Meredith Digital team, you will know the ins and outs of the web strategies of multiple Meredith brands, and communicate SEO best practices to help drive the future of our business. The primary responsibilities of the Technical SEO Manager will be to monitor, support and enhance the technical SEO performance of Meredith Digital sites and champion our organic traffic growth through smart, actionable search strategies. You will lead our analysis and reporting and be a trusted ally for technical implementation of web strategy and industry trends. II. Essential Job Functions Weight % Accountabilities, Actions and Expected Measurable Results 15-Monitor technical health of multiple websites through tools and data from Google Search Console, Bing Webmaster Tools, web access logs, ScreamingFrog, Lighthouse, Google Analytics/Adobe Omniture, and SimilarWeb 10-Provide ongoing reporting and benchmarking for multiple websites and distribute findings to leadership and other teams as needed 10-Conduct in-depth site audits and identify technical SEO opportunities and troubleshoot business critical fixes 10-Write and prioritize detailed bugs, stories and tasks with supporting documentation which can then be communicated to other teams 15-Provide quality assurance sign-off with each development sprint and document ongoing site changes that may impact organic search traffic to ensure adherence to page-level, site-wide and strategic SEO best practices 5-Assist the larger SEO team in providing feedback for product, revenue and other initiatives which may impact SEO metrics 5-Stay abreast of search engine guidelines, industry trends and all search engine algorithm updates and raise concerns to the larger SEO team and can speak to each site's risks. 10-Be a project owner for technical SEO efforts across multiple Meredith owned websites.
