Job Description
As a Search Engine Optimization (SEO) Coordinator, you conduct research, analyses, and audits to support the strategy and optimization of our client's technical and local search engine optimization programs. You will work on SEO on-page optimizations, user experience testing, and also manage local listings for our client's. Your ability to formulate metrics and create custom monthly reporting allows the SEO team to identify and implement SEO tactics and best practices for each client. You are able to work with Google Products such as docs, sheets, Google Analytics, and more and you constantly conduct ongoing professional research and education to stay up-to-date on industry trends. Your strategic and creative problem solving skills will allow you to grow and develop in our career.
Job Expectations
Assist SEO account leads as needed to formulate metrics and create custom monthly reporting to measure company and client success
Compile data from analytics, technical site audits, pagespeed audits, etc. for each client
Compile data by analyzing user experience testing scenarios
Create, claim, verify, audit, and optimize business listings on multiple directories for Go Local Interactive's clientele
Work within our local listings platform to manage and optimize business listings
Communicate and document information clearly and consistently to the appropriate internal product teams
Support communication to clients primarily through phone, email, or video for listing management
Create basic on-page SEO, user experience, and local listing solutions for SEO account leads
Ensure local listing and technical SEO programs are properly positioned with our clients through research on industry trends
Conduct ongoing professional research and education, staying up-to-date on industry trends
Manage and be a point of contact for a small group of assigned low-tier clients
Qualifications
Job Qualifications
Must demonstrate a proven track record of the ability to prioritize, organize, and multi-task in a flexible and fast-paced environment to effectively meet deadlines
Must demonstrate strong conceptual and written communication skills with a deep understanding of the English language (spelling, grammar, and vocabulary)
Must demonstrate the ability to effectively communicate both technical and non-technical information between internal product teams
Must demonstrate strategic and creative thinking when solving problems
Must demonstrate a basic understanding of content management systems (WordPress experience preferred)
Must demonstrate an understanding of technical and local Search Engine Optimization
Must demonstrate a basic understanding of Screaming Frog, Google Analytics, Search Console, Tag Manager, Bing Webmasters, and Google My Business
Must demonstrate proficient skills in Google Suite and Microsoft Office with an advanced understanding of Excel and Google Sheets
Must demonstrate presentation skills
Required Experience
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, English, Communication, or another related field, or equivalent experience
Google Analytics Certification preferred
Google Business Profile Basics Certification preferred
Google Tag Manager Certification preferred
1+ years of Local Listings Management experience preferred
1+ years of SEO experience preferred
Experience with keyword research
1+ years of experience with in-person client communication
Physical Requirements:
Sit for extended periods of time
Withstand seasonal changes in temperature
Knowledge of how to use basic office equipment
