Position Profile

We are looking for a Senior/Vice President Client Experience in our Chicago office with specific expertise in consumer packaged goods or consumer brands. The Vice President will be responsible for managing a large team across several skill sets and collaborating with Weber Shandwick's Insights, Content and Integrated Media communities to develop and execute strategic and creative client plans, providing ongoing client counsel, and working with the leadership team to drive new business growth. The Vice President will lead work from concept to execution, present ideas to clients, and mentor junior talent.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Own responsibilities for executional leadership of multiple client programs, budgets, plans

  • Maintain daily client contact, serving as a trusted resource and advisor

  • Facilitate cross-functional team integration (strategy, creative, integrated media specialists)

  • Drive development of tactical plans, translating strategies into tactics; ensure team deliverables align with strategies

  • Proactively support and suggest improvements and new ideas to exceed client expectations by leveraging industry knowledge and experience

  • Manage ongoing team resourcing/staffing to ensure successful delivery of work product

  • Contribute to the career growth of junior team members, serving as mentor and role model

  • Actively participate in agency development and assist with new business

  • Demonstrate financial acumen in the areas of budgeting, billing and staffing

REQUIRED SKILLS

  • 9-12 years of experience, preferably with some agency experience and managing large teams

  • Consumer brand experience

  • Experience working with integrated teams, and working on integrated campaigns (influencer, earned media, social media amplification, etc.).

  • Strong decision-making and project management skills

  • Ability to translate client needs into workable plans/projects

  • Confident presenter and persuasive speaker

  • Team management; people development

  • Self-motivated, entrepreneurial and endlessly curious

Commercial Cards and Single-Use Accounts provide payment solutions to businesses (Public and Private Sector) and other institutions for commercial expenditures, including business supplies, maintenance, repair, operational expenses and travel. The Commercial Card online program management applications are targeted towards both the cardholder and the program administrator. Cardholders have the ability to update their profile, report lost/stolen/damage cards, review statements and make payments. The Program Administrator has the ability to establish new accounts, spending limits, create authorizations and workflows, streamline reporting, GL interface and set buying polices throughout an organization. Platform responsibilities include both the proprietary PaymentNet platform as well as a third party platform. The Senior Product Manager, Client Experience and Delivery will lead cross-functional efforts for the technical release and deployment of new product enhancements as well as go-to-market planning across marketing, sales, communications and documentation. This product lead will manage a team of product management professionals to fully support the online solutions platforms assisting clients optimize their use of the programs, troubleshoot and manage incidents/issues that arise through final resolution. This role will also establish and manage an enhancement list to inform the overall platform strategy and product roadmap. This person must have proven experience understanding client needs and converting them to impactful platform solutions and enhancements. This individual will also be responsible for the high performance of our platform solutions and will be the first line of support to meet and exceed our customer's expectations. Key Focus: * Lead and drive client experience of online product solutions and manage the delivery of platform enhancements through client delivery * Lead all aspects of client solutions delivery through flawless platform release management, testing, deployment and driving ongoing client adoption and support - coordinating efforts with our technical, implementation, field and other cross-functional partners * Capture client enhancement requests and manage ongoing prioritization list to inform the platform strategy and overall product development roadmap * Work with functional partners on key client experience efforts, troubleshooting issues and driving issues to resolution * Coordinate Operational, Risk/Control and Client issues to resolution and ensure appropriate communications are managed * Become a subject matter expert on the technical and functional aspects of all of our platform reporting tools/systems and lead a team of SMEs to optimize clients' use of the solutions.
