Job DescriptionCome join a dynamic and global team at a Top leading ERP Software company. The Senior Revenue Account will lead the recognition and treatment of Sage's revenue streams through collaboration with various stakeholders and keeping up-to-date with technical guidance. Key Responsibilities Record revenue recognition for software and services, subscription, and multiple-element arrangements
Timely and accurate posting of general ledger journal entries (judgmental and complex in nature), period close activities, and balance sheet reconciliations
Work in partnership with sales colleagues to identify accounting considerations within complex multiple element contracts
Responsibility for the correct application of IFRS standards and any relevant judgments to technical accounting matters for example revenue recognition.
Manage key audit deliverables and engage in discussion with external audit on processes and calculations
Working with other teams in finance and the business to resolve issues as well as conduct training for Finance and Sales/Sales Ops teams
Ensuring that all regulatory compliance including accounting standards and tax legislation are adhered to. Active participation in process improvement projects.
Contribution to the reporting, understanding and action plans around team KPIs and process controls as per Service Management Framework.
Contributing to working processes being documented, standardized, modified in a controlled manner, waste eliminated and the value stream map for the area updated.
Assist other accounting teams as needed through continuous cross training.
Advanced Excel strongly preferred
In-depth knowledge of IFRS accounting standards, and IFRS 15 preferred
5 years minimum experience with operational accounting and reporting preferably in a technology environment required
It is strongly preferred that candidate would have experience in leading teams previously
Experience in a service oriented culture including working within SLAs preferred
