This is a full-time position located in our Houston, Texas office.
Our Water Treatment part of the Water service line is seeking someone with strong technical, leadership, communication, and business development skills who is eager to help lead and grow a group of professionals. We are seeking someone with proven business development skills complemented by strong capabilities including technical knowledge, leadership and communications. This individual should be team focused, with proven experience in successfully leading and growing a group of professionals. It is anticipated that this individual is well connected in industry, and is able to expand the service line's current client base.
Your Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities:
In conjunction with the Service Line Leadership and the Business Development Group, develop business development plans, identify markets/potential clients/sectors and related sales targets, and prepare responses to Requests for Proposals/Standing Offers;
Client and portfolio management, including project prioritization, risk ranking, and resource allocation;
Project management and execution of various tasks including the development and maintenance of project scopes, schedules and budgets, and coordination of staff;
Preparation and/or review of technical correspondence, project scope and cost proposals, technical reports, work plans, and project specifications;
Senior review of technical reports
Mentoring junior staff members
Attending and representing company in various industrial forums
Proactively participating in networking events, discussion forums, writing through leaderships and white paper, etc.
Preferred strong knowledge of industrial water/wastewater treatment, de-salination and modelling of water/wastewater treatment facilities
Master's degree, or higher, from an accredited institution in Environmental Engineering and Chemical Engineering discipline only.
10 years of experience in municipal and industrial water treatment work; with minimum 3 years of experience as a consultant and 3 years of experience managing projects.
Registered Professional (PE), preferably across multiple jurisdictions;
Ability to present technical information, both written and verbally, in a concise and professional manner;
Solid understanding of business development plans to deliver Water Treatment services. Proven track record of delivering on sales targets would be an asset;
Supervisory, project management, and client management experience required; and
Demonstrated capability to train, mentor and develop junior and intermediate staff.
Flexible with business travel globally on as needed basis (<10% of="">10%>
