Senior/Principal Scientist, Discovery 2022854 Location: Cambridge MA (Onsite) Science:

Small Molecule Therapeutic Area: Various Job Overview: We are looking for an experienced scientist at a senior/principal level to strengthen our clients experimental capabilities and collaborate closely with their team in order to progress their assay development goals.

Primary Job Responsibilities:

Utilize expertise in cell-based assay development, lipid metabolism, and neuroimmunology

Coordinate and oversee the research efforts of Research Associates and other scientists

Effectively communicate scientific findings through various channels, demonstrating strong written and verbal skills, and take responsibility for designing, executing, and generating reports for cell-based assay qualification plans and drafting SOP documents for cell and molecular assays

Primary Job Requirements:

PhD-level scientist, ideally with a publication background in lipid metabolism, neurobiology, neuroinflammation, and/or cardiovascular-related immunology

Strong background in cellular and molecular biology methodologies expected

Previous experience in cell-based assay development and qualification for small molecule screening required, with preference for experience using immortalized cell models of glia and/or macrophages

Experience in drafting, editing, and QC process for formal data reporting is an ideal skill set
