Overview

Burlington is looking to add a dynamic Senior Workday Analyst to our HRIS Team. If you are an experienced Workday analyst who possesses strong analytical skills with an understanding of the downstream impact of configuration and business process changes, specifically relating to ACA Reporting and Open Enrollment, we'd love to hear from you!

Our ideal candidate will play a key role in managing and enhancing intricate configuration of multiple Workday modules You must demonstrate problem-solving abilities, apply creative solutions to potential issues, and exhibit a proven track record of working with highly confidential data with a high degree of accuracy. Time management skills are crucial for projecting timelines and meeting deadlines. You should exercise judgment and discretion in handling sensitive information and be resourceful with a customer-focused, solutions-oriented attitude.

A Day in the Life

  • Lead, research, design, and configuration of HRIS (Workday) maintenance and administration of benefit plans including Open Enrollment.+ Utilize analytical and technical skills to translate business needs and convert them into requirements; drive projects, configure and test system functionality, and deliver effective and impactful results.+ Oversee preparation of reports and applications required by law to be filed with federal and state and other regulatory agencies including but not limited to ACA 1094C & 1095C.+ Use analytics to identify trends and monitor cost and performance of benefit plans, continuously recommending improvements based on data.+ Collaborate with internal and external partners to interpret laws and ordinances pertaining to benefits and time off, make necessary changes in policies and procedures and ensure all benefit and compliance requirements are met on time and within budget.+ Research and develop innovative solutions supporting strategic initiatives.
  • Lead open enrollment HRIS configuration for benefits and eligibility changes including vendor integration files and reconciliation.

You'll Come With

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field andat least2 years of Workday configuration experience required supporting ACA Reporting and Open Enrollment.+ Previous experience configuring Workday HCM BPs such as Hire, Change Job, Terminations; Workday Pro Benefits certification preferred .+ Experience in configuring cloud connect and benefits custom integrations.+ Knowledge of all pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements, both adopted and pending, affecting employee benefits programs, including but not limited to ERISA, COBRA, Social Security and DOL requirements.+ Functional knowledge of core HCM data management, technical knowledge of EIB loads, and experience with standard testing procedures.+ Proven experience working in a consultative environment with an emphasis on process improvement, providing high quality and creative solutions.
