This position will be responsible for leading wind tunnel activities to support aerodynamic performance testing and research. This includes leading research projects, providing support to function groups with test methodologies, data analysis techniques and wind tunnel improvement and efficiencies initiatives.
Additionally, this position will support testing performed by function teams as needed for a resource of data collection accuracy and efficiency as well as best practices. Additional responsibilities will include leading and supervising aerodynamic project engineers.
Bachelors in Mechanical Engineering or Aerospace Engineering and a minimum of 12 years of experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. Previous wind tunnel experience is required.
Automotive experience and experience with automotive development is desired. Proficient PC Skills (Excel, Word, PowerPoint and other technical and test software and equipment) and excellent communication/interpersonal skills also required. Need to travel and work overtime may be required.
