The Senior Asset Manager will be responsible for O&M for multiple Wind Farms across the US. On the average day you willrun monitoring and preventative maintenance programs, oversee engineering & performance reviews and reports, provide contract management of third party technical management entities, and oversee operations and maintenance, including coordination with BOP maintenance contractor.You will also be responsible for contract management of third party entity for technical management of Balance of Plant (BOP) infrastructure, managing competitive solicitation process for parts and services, producing daily, monthly, annually and other reports as needed for a variety of audiences, and ensuring project permit and regulatory compliance.You will be the Single Point of contact for utility transmission owner and regional transmission operator as it relates to communications for project operations and use your existing understanding ofNERC / FERC reporting and compliance for owner and investor reporting.Requirements
  • 4 year Degree in B.A./B.S., or equivalent, with a minimum of 3 years Wind Asset management experience.
  • Five years or more work experience in the wind industry
  • Experience with Electrical Sub Station protocol
  • Knowledge of multi-state and federal government regulatory requirements related to wind development and operation.
  • Experience in analyzing and monitoring programs
  • Knowledge of sources and utilization of publicly available weather data sets
  • Proficient knowledge of general wind farm planning, construction and operation requirements
  • Hands-on experience in SCADA software
  • GIS user experience
  • Excellent computer skills of MS Office (especially MS Excel, including the use of MS
  • Basics and macro programming tools and MS Access, SQL database and query scripting, SCADA hardware and Software)
  • Excellent knowledge of Wind Turbine manufacturers and turbine technology
  • Windographer (beneficial but not required)
  • ArcView (or similar GIS software application)
  • Google Earth Pro
  • Excellent English in writing and speaking; second language beneficial but not required (Spanish, French)
  • Ability to travel (air and land); drivers license required; position includes some travelling (

VIEW JOBS 1/6/2021 12:00:00 AM 2021-04-06T00:00 Description Job Description: More About the Role: The NGEN-R SMIT NMCI Global Logistics team has openings for Regional Asset Managers (AsM) to oversee and conduct the management of IT assets across the Continental US, Alaska, and Hawaii. This position focuses on the tracking and control of service assets in the IT infrastructure and collaborates with configuration analysts to train Service Asset & Configuration Management (SACM) staff in SACM principles, processes, and procedures. The AsM supports the creation of the SACM process, activities, and procedures to include configuration item registration procedures, access controls, and privileges. The AsM will ensure the correct roles and responsibilities are defined in the SACM plan/procedures. AsMs will assist with procurement of IT assets when requested and will work with other SACM roles to tag and track all IT assets and to identify their locations and owners. Additional tasking for AMSs may include: * Receiving IT assets and ensuring delivery to correct locations, and coordinating IT asset setup and teardown activities when requested. * Proposing/concurring with the SACM Manager on CIs to be uniquely identified with naming conventions. * Ensuring developers and configuration system users comply with identification standards. Liaises with Configuration Librarian on population of asset and configuration management system (CMS). * Performing configuration audits to ensure physical inventory is consistent with the configuration management database (CMDB)/CMS, initiating corrective action through Change Control. * Accepting baselined products from third parties for distribution. * Building system baselines for promotion and release. * Maintaining project status information and status accounting records and reports. * Assisting SACM Manager(s) in report definition as required. * Maintaining and reconciling databases containing information regarding licenses, warranties, and service agreements for the organization's hardware and software. You'll Bring These Qualifications: * BA degree and 2-4 years of prior relevant experience or Masters with less than 2 years of prior relevant experience. * High school diploma or Genera Equivalency Diploma (GED) with 5 years' minimum experience and four (4) years of experience using DoD Logistics and Asset Management System (e.g., Remedy, DPAS, GCSS-MC). These Qualifications Would be Nice to Have: * Experience with "HP Asset Manager" software. * Experience with FAR/DFAR Government Property Management requirements. * Experience with Government asset management system (DPAS or GCSS-MC).
