Senior Web Engineer II

Job Description Job Description We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for a Web Engineer Sr II, Digital Product Delivery in the automotive industry, located in Torrance, CA 90501. The candidate will have the opportunity to be part of a team that is internally developing and operating services that were previously outsourced.

This role is crucial in driving our mission of delivering innovative solutions in the mobility domain by developing and operating robust web services. Responsibilities: Develop and maintain user interfaces using Angular, ensuring optimal performance across devices Build and manage server-side applications using Node.js, including API development and database integration Lead the development and operation of web services from planning to deployment and maintenance Create comprehensive design documents and operational manuals to support application development and maintenance for Confluence Manage tasks using Jira Design and implement back-end servers using AWS services, ensuring scalability and reliability Interact effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders, demonstrating excellent communication skills Work collaboratively in a team environment, exhibiting strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Continuously learn and adapt to new technologies. Educational Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science , Engineering , or a related field, OR equivalent work experience.

Technical Experience Minimum 5 years of professional experience in web development. Proven experience developing front-end and back-end systems using Angular and Node.js . Hands-on experience in independently developing and operating web services. Strong knowledge of AWS tools and services (e.g., S3, Lambda, EC2). Preferred Experience Familiarity with building and operating services in the mobility domain is a plus.

Experience in project management and working with cross-functional teams. Strong ability to manage cloud-based systems and infrastructure. Technical Skills Strong understanding of modern web technologies and development frameworks.

Experience with API development and database management. Proficiency with collaboration tools like Confluence and issue-tracking software like Jira .
