Responsibilities & Qualifications

What You'll Do:

• Leadership & Business Development: Organize and lead teams to secure pumping station and wastewater treatment opportunities. Position yourself with local clients and spearhead the development of winning proposals.

• Advanced Engineering Design: Oversee the engineering design of complex projects, including pump station assessments, hydraulic calculations, utility plans, water and wastewater treatment systems, technical specifications and drawings, infrastructure condition assessments, rehabilitation, and cost estimating.

• Project Management: Manage projects and resources, track budgets, set schedules, coordinate staffing and resources, maintain client coordination, and handle invoicing and payments.

• Mentorship: Support and mentor staff, fostering both their professional and technical growth.

• Client Engagement: Present project deliverables to clients, ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded.

What You'll Need:

• B.S. degree in Civil or Environmental Engineering required; M.S. degree preferred.

• 8+ years in water and wastewater engineering consulting, including studies, design, and construction services for municipal clients.

• Professional Engineering (PE) licensure is mandatory.

• Proven experience in managing client expectations, technical teams, and project finances.

• Strong interpersonal, communication, and technical writing skills with meticulous attention to detail.

• Client focused, always striving to give clients the best solutions and expand relationships.

• Strong commitment to innovation by creating new and better ways to solve clients' toughest challenges and delivering optimal solutions.

• High levels of integrity, always doing the right thing in an ethical, fair, and sustainable way.
