As GlobalTranz grows, the Marketing Team plays a critical role in bringing the mission, capabilities and technology story to life; from building the brand to the acquisition and retention of customers, and carriers and our network of industry-leading freight agents.
We are looking for a passionate, energetic and multi-disciplined Senior Visual Designer to convey our brand message and vision through the creation of effective, compelling, differentiated, and on-brand creative for a variety of projects. In this role, you'll be supporting all Marketing channels (email, social, web, printed materials, digital ads, etc.) through layouts, graphics, and visualizations. You will know how to take visual brand guidelines and use them to create visual assets that build awareness, educate key constituents, drive online conversion or grab attention at an industry trade show or conference. You will be comfortable and confident using professional design programs such as the Adobe Creative Suite, designing for a wide variety of applications (sales materials, conferences, email campaigns, social advertising, digital ads, etc.), and creating a range of assets (infographics, slide decks, print brochures, emails, landing pages, signage, etc.) geared toward our key constituents. You should also have a proven commitment to quality control and be welcoming to and desire constructive feedback. Making sure everything that "goes out the door" is proofread, of the highest quality, and reviewed by your team for proper timing and sign-off. You will be an energetic and enthusiastic individual who will be an ambassador of the GlobalTranz brand and will help support the continued growth of GlobalTranz. Your deliverables will have a direct effect on helping accelerate and build the future of GlobalTranz's messaging.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
Help build out and expand our brand guidelines and ensure uniformity across every external-facing touchpoint.
Work closely with the Creative Director to design assets that have strong copy, great design, and the optimal balance between the two
Create event materials, sell-sheets, internal materials, digital ad graphics, infographics, and email layouts for marketing and sales initiatives; ideally, design motion graphics and/or videos to bring our story to life
Designing landing pages for various marketing initiatives; WordPress, HTML and CSS experience a plus
Assisting team, branches, departments and outside agency partners with projects as necessary
Have a keen understanding of GlobalTranz's brand identity and ensure that it is maintained throughout all marketing initiatives that integrate typographic, photographic, illustrative, graphic, and interactive elements.
Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and implement creative campaign strategies.
Leverage GlobalTranz's brand positioning, persona, and behavioral marketing research in creative production.
Creative professional with at least 4-6 years' experience in developing designs for web, interactive, and print media as an in-house or agency designer
Exceptional technical skills in the Adobe Creative Suite
(Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign), working knowledge of HTML/CSS (only to guide design for email/web)
A strong designer who can translate a brand's look and feel into "go-to-market-ready" visual elements
A solid portfolio including work examples that delivered results (awareness, conversion or both)
Experience designing for multiple mediums and use cases
Strong attention to detail, excellent organization skills and
ability to meet deadlines

Process-oriented mentality with an ability to define and refine procedures for optimal creative production - from initial request to feedback and revision to production/launch
Experience designing within marketing automation/email marketing tools (e.g., HubSpot)

communications, advertising or related discipline or equivalent work experience is required
An impressive portfolio showcasing design and user-centered design capabilities
Ability to design for multiple platforms/media types, including print, desktop, and mobile.
Ability to work within established brand guidelines and concept
new ideas within a brand while maintaining visual continuity across several mediums and outlets.
