Are you excited to step into a complex communication role that requires a strong vision, strategic-mindset and a passion for creative storytelling? As a Senior Visual Communications Consultant, you'll have a direct connection to business leaders responsible for C.H. Robinson's largest division, North America Surface Transportation, or NAST. You will be in the heart of the action, developing modern, transparent communications that ignite and inform a talented team through transformation.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and execute project-based communication strategies designed to outline and reinforce transformation objectives.

  • Create and execute memorable, engaging, visual cross-channel communications that drive awareness, ignite emotion, and inspire employees to take action. Channels include video, social, SharePoint, visual communications (infographic), podcast, etc.

  • Manage and execute a weekly communication to the network.

  • Serve as a consultative, influential partner who uses business acumen to guide, give perspective, and coach/upskill other team members.

  • Embody our communications principles: authentic, transparent, concise, and real-time to simplify complex concepts into end-user facing language.

  • Measure and report out on communication effectiveness via analytics.

  • Manage relationships with internal and external partners (internal communications, marketing, HR, etc.).

  • Other duties or responsibilities as assigned according to the team and/or country specific requirements

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

  • Minimum of 5 years' progressive professional experience

  • Minimum of 4 years' in a communication, media, marketing, or writing experience

  • Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite (PowerPoint, SharePoint)

  • Can perform basic tasks in Adobe Creative Suite or similar programs

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Excellent writing, storytelling and listening skills

  • Proficient in video and visual communication creation (Camtasia, Powtoon, Venngage, Piktochart or similar programs)

  • Creating and executing communications strategy for projects/initiatives.

  • The ability to pinpoint what compels/ignited emotion with an audience.

  • A keen eye for good design and layout, and possesses design skill in the production of visuals, including slides, posters, video and digital media.

  • Detail-oriented, organized and can prioritize effectively.

  • Excellent consultative skills and ability to communicate effectively across varied stakeholders, including senior organizational leaders.

  • Proven ability to work with minimal guidance, manage multiple priorities simultaneously, and take initiative even under unfamiliar or ambiguous circumstances.

  • Comfortable working in a high volume, fast-paced, rapidly changing, results-oriented work environment.

  • Aware of the latest trends and always thinking about ways to innovate
