From helping create original live streaming content, to working with junior members on developing their post-production skills, we are looking to add a Senior Video Editor to our FOX Sports Team in Playa Vista. You will be responsible for working within the video operations team and be assigned to marquee projects that will span across the FOX Sports digital portfolio. If you have great video editing skills, detail-orientated and possess strong social communication skills, then this could be the role for you. You will work closely with the team leaders to help create original live streaming content and/or VOD, optimize live event/sports studio show content for social. Additionally, you will lead content ideation process and conceptualization, along with end to end execution of shows/productions. Simply, you would be an integral part of the production of our digital portfolio.


  • Work closely with team leaders to help create original live streaming content and/or VOD

  • Optimize live event/sports studio show content for social

  • Lead content ideation process and conceptualization, along with end to end execution of shows/productions

  • Produce strong social, digital video and audio content - includes the ability to execute flawless spelling and grammar with quick turnaround, track record of high-quality Photoshop-style design skills with quick turnaround, and proven Premiere/Final Cut-style video editing skills with quick turnaround

  • Help develop junior members' post-production skills

  • Search for tools, plug-ins, software, and other relevant industry innovations to continue improving the overall look and feel of our video content

  • Build and maintain relationships across a variety of groups including sales, marketing, programming, digital, linear, studio and other show teams


  • Should have at least 5 years of Cable/TV production and/or Digital editorial experience

  • Understanding of how best to use digital platforms and experience working with digital platforms, including owned and operated platforms and 3rd party platforms

  • Must be able to communicate effectively with talent, athletes, team managers, event staff, outside producers and all other persons involved with productions

  • Should have a command of production terminology and procedures

  • Must be knowledgeable on Mac

  • Experience working with special platforms

  • Live streaming experience, but not limited to Wirecast

  • Adobe Production Suite (Photoshop, Premiere), After Effects


  • Canon DSLR camera experience and professional audio experience highly preferred

  • Mobile production experience is a plus
