The Senior Vice President (SVP) of Recovery Pro Operations coordinates and manages all Auto Insurance Claims Operations including product development, claims administration and call center operations. Ensure that we are providing exceptional service to the companys clients, customers and the internal departments. The SVP demonstrates exceptional communication skills and a strong ability to improve department processes and efficiency, ensuring production and accuracy requirements are met by all teams. Prepares and manages the departments budgets.

Essential Functions

  • Improve the operational systems, process policies in support of organizational mission Specifically support better management reporting, information flow and business process and organizational improvements or changes.

  • Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared toward operational excellence

  • Responsible for employee development, coaching, mentoring, performance evaluation and all management related functions while building future capability and developing next generation leaders.

  • Formulate policies, manage daily operational activities and plan use of materials and staff, focusing on maximum productivity.

  • Determine needs, reduce cost and analyze areas requiring improvement.

  • Direct and coordinate financial and budget processes.

  • Establish and implement departmental goals, procedures and policies.

  • Oversee production and service delivery ensuring SLAs are consistently met.

  • Complete additional duties as assigned

Required Skills & Experience

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent or equivalent experience/.

  • 5+ years Claims management experience with large auto dealers, auto lenders and/or auto insurance companies.

  • Experience adjudicating total loss and/or GAP claims.

  • Experience running operational centers.

  • Must understand and have experience with call center metrics and total loss process in the auto industry.

  • Experience leading large-scale projects and initiatives.

The Vice President - National Accounts is responsible for national program implementation and network management for skilled nursing facility (SNF) groups for all UnitedHealthcare lines of business. This role is accountable for the SNF network for multiple large SNF groups, ensures in total the network meets all state, federal and business network adequacy requirements; drives the accountability and achievement for quality and performance objectives, and produces affordable and predictable service for customers and business partners. The Vice President - National Accounts will drive network strategies, facilitate product expansion and implementation, ensure regulatory compliance, adhere to reimbursement structure standards, and support other key process controls. You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S. as you take on some tough challenges. Primary Responsibilities: * Lead the relationship and represent the enterprise for all assigned SNF groups * Lead the national, regional and local implementation of UHC and Optum programs for each SNF Group (Enterprise Post-Acute Care Program, ISNP, IE-SNP, Community improvement plans, terminations, etc.) by partnering internally and externally * Coordinate with local SNF Network Management teams to align strategy, priorities, and communication regarding all Medicare, Medicaid and Commercial endeavors relating to the performance of the assigned SNF Groups * Provide leadership to, and be accountable for the performance of each assigned SNF Group across all UHC lines of business * Collaborate with Network leadership to develop and implement network performance projects within assigned SNF Groups * Collaborate with other national leadership teams, across Sales, Clinical and related functions, to accomplish enterprise goals * Support growth strategies with new and existing Optum partners * Ability to create and convey a strategic vision, and translate strategic initiatives into tactical actions. * Ability to travel (up to 40%) to markets with SNF Group presence to lead teams and expand relationships with assigned SNF Groups * Ability to analyze data to propose reimbursement and incentive arrangements for mutual benefit, aligned with appropriate customer strategies * Ability to assess and interpret customer needs and requirements * Ability to manage a variety of complex issues while driving key projects * Ability to take and manage risks * Ability to develop and maintain professional working relationships with providers and senior housing operators in region * Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and staff to create a results-driven, team-oriented environment You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * Undergraduate degree in Business, Healthcare Administration or equivalent experience * 7-10 years of progressive healthcare management experience with strong preference for managed care or skilled nursing industry experience * 5-7 years experience in a leadership role, strongly preferred; Demonstrated leadership skills in business development, and/or new product implementation * 2 years experience handling complex network providers with accountability for business results; Experience managing a medical cost and administrative budget * Possess and demonstrate strong contract negotiation skills and contracting knowledge; Experience working with or negotiating a complex solution to the physician, healthcare community desirable * Possess strong strategic and business acumen well-grounded in healthcare delivery systems; Understanding of product pricing development and financial modeling; Knowledge of financial reimbursement methodologies, including pay for performance, incentive-based reimbursement models, strongly preferred * Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations and requirements including payment guidelines and reimbursement methodologies such as DRGs, RUGS, PDPM, etc; Comprehension of policies and standards related to Medicare Advantage and Special Need Plans (SNP's) is essential to the role * Familiarity with local and national market trends in skilled nursing community and in managed care industry * Excellent verbal and written communication skills, and excellent presentation skills are required.
