Position Overview:

Reporting to the President, the Senior Vice President of Supply Chain will lead a team of 17, setting the strategic vision and procurement/logistics initiatives for a $2.5B company with over 215 restaurant locations and 2000+ SKUs.

  • Develop and provide strategic direction and leadership for the Purchasing Department.

  • Manage four direct reports and a department of seventeen.

  • Interface and partner with C-Suite Executives on key company initiatives and strategic objectives.

  • Establish and maintain strategic business relationships with senior executives at key supplier and distributor business partners.

  • Establish and maintain a collaborative relationship with senior supply chain executives at licensed partners.

  • Ensure that department priorities and resources are effectively managed and deployed to meet deadlines and commitments to other stakeholders.

  • Facilitate and encourage open, direct, and professional communication with other departments, restaurants, vendors, and department staff members.

  • Ensure all internal procurement processes and procedural controls are being administered effectively to minimize risk to the company.

  • Provide leadership that promotes positive and effective interdepartmental interactions.

Qualifications

  • 20+ years of executive level experience and leadership roles in procurement and supply chain management within the restaurant or hospitality industry.

  • Prior large organization management and staff development experience required.

  • Bachelor degree in Business or related field of study. (MBA is preferred)

So, let's discover the future together - apply today! * Analysis of inventory and cost transaction detail, including preparing journal adjustments and monthly account reconciliations. * Preparation and presentation of inventory and cost trend information in management reports and for monthly calls with Supply Chain. * Quarterly analysis of slow moving and obsolete inventory, providing summary to business partners. * Monthly analysis of CAPEX equipment and equipment on loan for inventory reserve adjustments. * Oversee standard costing, cost revaluations and royalty accruals. * Analysis of sales orders for appropriate revenue recognition following IFRS guidelines, reviewing purchase orders, statements of work, customer terms and conditions, and other contractual documents. * Work with Sales and Sales Administration to understand complex deals. * Ensure data governance and quality control for completeness and accuracy of data around revenue and cost of sales. * Gross and product margin analysis. * Review applicable processes, propose and implement process improvements as appropriate. Continually look to improve "Best Business Practices." * Revenue and cost amortization schedules * Budget to Actual COS analysis * Solve problems relating to orders, revenue and cost of sales. * R&D pre-production material spend analysis. * Warranty provision calculation. * Material absorption analysis & true-up. * Work under fast moving, deadline driven environment. * Set a consistent and standard way to measure and present KPIs for the department. * Strategic business partnering with Supply Chain, Product Development, FP&A, IT, and Accounting * BA in Accounting or Finance * Minimum 5+ years of previous Cost Accounting experience * Experience with revenue accounting a plus * Manufacturing and intercompany accounting * Advanced Excel skills * High proficiency with JDE E1 ERP/Accounting, Cognos or other reporting tool, and Salesforce or other CRM comparable system. * Strong oral & written communication and presentation skills. * Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. * Must have strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with a consistent degree of accuracy.
