Job Background

The Treasury Global Process Owner/Transformation Office works closely with stakeholders to define, drive and execute end-to-end process design and implementation efforts across Treasury activities, which span global Treasury groups, Finance functions, infrastructure partners in EIO&T and business partners in ICG and GCB. The team leads Treasury's regulatory agenda and internal reviews to identify priorities, coordinate efforts and track progress, and define and implement best practices.

Treasury is creating a new role within the Global Process Owner/Transformation Office to drive execution of the regulatory remediation program for Interest Rate Risk, with a particular focus on implementing a new centralized system for funds transfer pricing ("FTP").

Key Responsibilities

  • Work closely with colleagues in Treasury, the businesses, Risk, and Controllers to understand and document FTP system requirements, including any required enhancements to inbound data sources

  • Assess the impact of the new system on existing processes and platforms; identify and document gaps between current and target state processes

  • Develop detailed roll-out plan to implement the new FTP system, including downstream feeds to risk calculators and financial reporting systems/ledgers

  • Provide oversight of milestones and input to ensure consistent and timely resolution of deliverables

  • Provide training and guidance to the local teams that will be integrating the new system into the financial reporting, risk reporting, and business management processes

  • Produce high quality, senior management materials to communicate project status clearly and concisely

  • Coordinate across workstreams to ensure that Interest Rate Risk methodology changes and enhancements are implemented consistently

Experience & Qualifications

  • 8+ years of financial services experience

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree; MBA or other advanced degree is a plus

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of VBA and SQL is a plus

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage with a wide variety of people across functions / seniority

  • Prior experience in Treasury, Finance, or Interest Rate Risk is highly desirable

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively across business units / functions to deliver results

  • High energy, self-starter with a flexible and pragmatic attitude and a desire to show continued progress

Overview: Be a major contributor to a global financial crime team in the implementation of a global financial crime list management technology and operations program from the ground up. Major Responsibilities: * Oversight and facilitation of the global financial crime technology list management processes * Partner with global list management governance personnel to improve the existing, disparate, list management processes, into one global standard process * Represent the GFCD-Technology team as part of the global list management governance and working groups on the analysis and advisory of changes and exceptions approval process * Review and provide feedback and oversight over the system changes proposed at all branches, related to list management, ensuring that uniform adoption of financial-crimes-related technology and processes, including screening software, and consistency in data retention, controls, reconciliation, system settings, and parameters, etc. * Coordinate, advise and oversee tests and changes related to list management, ensuring that the GFCD-Technology methodologies are being followed, including but not limited to tuning and volume tests of screening system * Support the management of list vendors, overseeing the global service level and acting as liaison between GFCD-Technology HQ and all branches * Oversight of the Global List Management System operations, coordinating any maintenance or enhancement needed. Qualifications Qualifications: * 5 plus years of experience in financial services preferably within in compliance, technology, audit or related functions. * BA/BS (or equivalent work experience) with emphasis in Business, Information Technology or related field required. * Knowledge of laws applicable to sanctions and money laundering, including OFAC requirements and the Bank Secrecy Act (BSA). * Experience operating in a global capacity coordinating different teams * Knowledge and experience in testing and tuning financial crime systems, with emphasis in sanctions. Hotscan and/or Actimize experience are a plus * Large project execution experience in order to recognize and escalate concerns and issues in a timely manner * Possesses interpersonal and communication skills along with strong business acumen.
