Job Overview

This position is responsible for managing at least one complex vendor relationship, including all embedded processes. Work with transportation vendor to enforce contract terms. Work with ERP systems and with T-Mobile distribution centers to manage transportation spend effectively. Forecast and manage cost incurred by T-Mobile transportation vendors. Leads supply chain initiatives and ad-hoc projects. Representing vendor management team in communications with internal teams. Proactively leading resolution of operational and functional issues. Provide on-site support for all transportation-related activities.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Conduct weekly business review calls with each vendor, manage planning sheet and action trackers.

  • Development and delivery of reporting and weekly/monthly dashboards & metrics.

  • Create and review with vendor monthly and quarterly scorecards.

  • Develop rolling three month volume and trailer forecasts for special product promotions.

  • Initiate, develop and execute new supply chain initiatives with vendors.

  • Audit, control and process all invoices and credit memos as required

  • Manage warehouse and transportation vendors to ensure performance of network is run effectively.

  • Audit and drive improvements for disposition and overall program through cross-functional initiatives.

  • Review and enforce contractual terms and service level expectations

  • Develop, document and communicate new processes as needed

  • Create and analyze ad-hoc program data/metrics

  • Leading communication and information sharing with other functional teams

  • Initiate and/or lead logistics process improvement programs and financial objectives

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree Business, finance or related field (required)

Work Experience:

  • 2-4 years Vendor management or logistics experience. (required)

  • 2-4 years Supply chain or transportation management experience. (required)

  • Wireless industry experience. (preferred)

  • ERP experience. (preferred)
