CALIBRE Systems Inc., an employee-owned Management Consulting and Digital Transformation company, is looking for a Senior Benefits Advisor to support our client at Langley AFB, VA.

Conduct transition activities in support of the VA. Transition support includes conducting standardized VA Benefits and Services Briefings, one-on-one engagements, pre-separation counseling support, military life cycle (MLC) events, Capstone events, and warm-handover support. Senior Benefits Advisors provides planning, coordination, and execution of training programs. Serves as a senior instructor delivering established curriculum, training tools, and ensuring course content and delivery methods follow established training objectives. Identifies possible course material revisions based on instructor and/or participant feedback or suggestions.

Responsibilities may include:

  • Executing non-event Activities at assigned installation

  • Participate in weekly Site Lead meetings

  • Inform installation staff about new policies, procedures and operational guidance

  • Execute quality management activities at assigned installation and across the program

  • Deliver onsite activities and execute post-event data collection activities

Required Skills

  • Understand and apply adult learning theories

  • Understanding of VA benefits programs

  • Understanding of transitioning Service member populations

  • Experience using Microsoft Office suite of tools

  • Strong customer management and support skills

  • Experience delivering interactive workshops and training to live audiences

Required Experience

  • Bachelor's degree or 4-5 years' equivalent work/military experience

  • Preferred emphasis in Training, Education, Career Counseling, or HR

  • Appropriate certifications

Preferred Skills:

  • Knowledge of the military and experience working with military clients

  • Understanding of current veteran issues and challenges pre- and post- transitions

The Billing Manager is responsible for leadership and oversight of billing and reporting systems. This includes leading and planning operations, contract and accounting policy compliance, reporting and analyzing revenue, as well as staff management and development. This position is responsible for designing, implementing, and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining billing processes. This position is highly visible internally and externally and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the billing team. This position is full - time (40 hours / week) Monday - Friday. Employees are required to work our 8 hour shift schedules during our normal business hours of (8:00 am - 5:00 pm). View our Covid - 19 Resources Page at: https://info.uhg.com/ Primary Responsibilities: * Oversee invoice preparation and delivery of invoices and reports * Ensure the customer billing process occurs in a timely and accurate manner * Monitor the billing system calculations during normal operations and system upgrades to ensure the integrity of the process * Interact with customers and program management to establish strong working relationships * Oversee cash application and reconciliation of A / R from ledger to sub - ledger * Monitor funding and outstanding A / R balances and take appropriate actions to manage DSO * Prepare reports and analyses as required in support of the monthly financial closing process and contractual obligations * Plan and implement quality assurance for all processes * Leverage technology to add controls and eliminate risk from financial processes * Oversee the implementation of new contracts * Collaborate with Finance and Program Management on contractual and invoice matters * Lead and develop team members, manage workload, training, performance evaluation, and building effective teams You'll be rewarded and recognized for your performance in an environment that will challenge you and give you clear direction on what it takes to succeed in your role as well as provide development for other roles you may be interested in. Required Qualifications: * High School Diploma / GED (or higher)· * 2+ years of progressive experience working within a relevant Billing role or related professional role * 2+ years of supervisory or leadership experience to include strong leadership skills with ability to develop and motivate direct reports * Proficient in Microsoft Office suite; Microsoft Outlook (ability to create, edit, send correspondence), Microsoft Excel (ability to create, edit, save spreadsheets) and Microsoft Word (ability to create, edit, save, send documents and integrated accounting systems) * If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or similar UnitedHealth Group - approved symptom screener.
