Purpose of Position
The User Experience (UX) Designer, Senior creates world-class human-centered experiences across digital and physical, that will help NetJets provide exceptional travel experiences for our owners and drive measurable business outcomes. The UX Designer, Senior collaborates with project teams to strategize and translate high-level requirements and best practices into frameworks for intuitive, efficient and engaging user experiences across key internal and external applications. The UX Designer, Senior demonstrates curiosity by asking questions around user needs and underlying drivers.
Tasks and Responsibilities
Advocates for human-centered experiences. Responsible to understand user tasks/needs, define and generate high-quality User Experience related documentation, such as but not limited to experience strategy frameworks, empathy maps, experience maps, flow diagrams, wireframes, interactive prototypes, and mock-ups. Contributes to the overall application structure, task flows and application design and acts as a bridge between requirements definition, design and development phases of projects.
Works closely with UX Designer, Lead, product owners and project teams to identify and clarify user requirements in order to develop rich and realistic user scenarios that support product definition and design. Supports the creation and execution of Design Thinking workshops. Leads multidisciplinary teams toward established project goals.
Supports UX related research activities (e.g., ethnographic research, usability testing) with users while promoting best practices for achieving User Centered Design
Maintains a consistent user experience across a suite of products
Stays up-to-date on emerging best practices, trends, and technologies
Bachelor's in Graphic Design or Visual Communications

Ability to drive meaningful & measurable business outcomes
Excellent oral, written and presentation skills
Conversant in digital content communication, visual design concepts, and interactive technologies
Strong executional experience with projects across all phases and ability to move from concepts to final design
A passion for and strong eye for detail including an eye for typography, color, and layout
Portfolio demonstrating smart, visually stunning user experiences
Knowledge in all types of digital experiences, including enterprise applications, mobile and responsive web
Ability to scope work and complete projects on time and budget
A deep appreciation for simple solutions to complex problems
Advanced knowledge of tools such as Adobe Creative Suite, Axure, InVision, Sketch or similar.
Demonstrated ability to learn and quickly comprehend new concepts
Demonstrated strong judgment and decision-making ability
Demonstrated strong logical and technical troubleshooting and problem solving skills
Experience in interfacing with business users using user research methodologies
Able to wear multiple hats and assist in any capacity to deliver positive results
