Senior UX Designer

Emarsys is a marketing platform company acquired by SAP in 2020 and we are currently expanding our product and engineering organization to new markets. As part of this, we are looking for a new senior UX designer to join our wonderful, skilled community to develop solutions that make marketers' repetitive and challenging tasks easier, more efficient, and more enjoyable.

We believe that design is a team sport and we are working to elevate the UX maturity of the whole company. Joining an existing team of 20+ UX professionals, your main role will be to contribute to the design of the Emarsys software and platform in a way that meets customer needs, combining interfaces and workflows to enhance user experience.

In this role, you should be an analytical and creative designer who is able to grasp user needs and solve problems. Ultimately, you will make our product more user-friendly and intuitive to attract and retain customers.

YOUR AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

• Work with other designers, researchers, developers, and product managers on a daily basis

• Create user flows, sketches, wireframes based on hypotheses, data, research results and business requirements

• Build prototypes to showcase concepts, information architecture, and interactions

• Create visual designs ready to be used by developers

• Be responsible for creating design solutions suitable for our internal and external customers

• Bring in new ideas and directions that challenge the product and business decisions

• Work together with the agile development team supporting them in realizing their plans

• Work closely with the UX researcher and integrate their work into the design process

• Present your work regularly at demos and management meetings

YOUR PROFILE

• Proven experience (at least 5 years) as a UX Designer or similar role.

• Strong portfolio of design projects or case studies

• Background in project management or research is a plus

• Proficient in design software such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, Axure or similar

• Knowledge of HTML/CSS; and JavaScript is a plus

• Problem-solving, positive attitude

• Analytical, strategic mindset

• Strong communications skills in English

• Experience working in SaaS
