  • * Reviews both daily and longer-term monitoring of Utilities systems and operations * Provides Technical support to Operations organization for Utilities systems, including process troubleshooting * Participates in oversight of third-party contract service companiesPlanning * Leads development of site Utilities system safety, reliability, and improvement plans * Initiates and participates in screening studies and optimizations for Utilities systems * Develops project basis and preliminary designs for energy and Utilities systems and provides contractor follow-up during detailed design * Monitors contractor's Utilities work * Owns responsibility for steam, water, and fuel balances. Understands the impact of future projects on those balances.Mentoring & Networking * Mentors junior site engineering staff, guides development of expertise in Utilities. * Participates in Beaumont Complex (Refining and Chemical Plant) Utilities & Energy optimization efforts; coordinates all Chemical Plant projects with Refining organization. * Represents Chemical Plant in regional activities.Job RequirementsExperiences* 5-10 years of manufacturing experience in refining and/or chemicals industry * Planning and design of Utilities systems for refining and/or petrochemical sites * Engineering consulting and troubleshooting to process and operations personnel * Knowledge of overall system approaches for steam, fuel, air, water treating systemsUtilities Skills * Demonstrated technical understanding and experience in the skills areas below: * Steam Systems * Boilers* HRSGs * Air and Nitrogen Systems * Cooling Water Systems * Heat Exchangers * Pressure Relief * Water Treatment Systems * Water Treatment ChemistryGeneral Skills*

You will be required to take a consultative sales approach with a primary emphasis on strong account leadership skills and retention of strategic Downstream accounts. In addition, you must build long-term relationships with a large customer base by understanding their key business drivers, executing system assurance programs, and selling new technologies. What You Will Do: * Work closely with current and new customers to understand business needs and recommend continuous improvement and innovation plans that will maintain and grow sales within assigned territory. * Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives. * Generate and execute sales plans in assigned customer base and new customer accounts to meet defined territory profit increase goals. * Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders in current and new customers, including plant or facility executives. * Provide technical support to customers; identifying and resolving customer complaints, escalating as required. * Engage in problem solving by performing system analysis, interpreting data and providing written recommendations to ensure customer operations are performing at optimal levels. * Actively sell and support Nalco Water innovations and technology in assigned customers to promote long-term business relationships with Nalco Water. * Possible travel within assigned sales territory Minimum Qualifications: * Bachelor's Degree * 5 years of technical sales or field sales support experience * Ability to travel overnight to support sales territory * Must have a valid Driver's License and acceptable Motor Vehicle Record * No immigration sponsorship offered for this role Physical Demands: * Must have the ability to Lift/Push/Pull/Carry up to 55 pounds chest high.
