What you will do
We are looking for a highly skilled Senior Underwriting Quality Analyst to join our team. This individual will be responsible for conducting quality assurance reviews on commercial lines accounts and individual lines of business within our regional segments. The incumbent will work closely with our regional leadership team to conduct calibration reviews and complete focused underwriting file audits for CSPIU.
Essential Functions:
Ensure proper underwriting practices and procedures are being adhered to through calibration reviews.
Complete account file reviews and focused audits, reporting results to management.
Conduct necessary research and analysis.
Work closely with Manager of Underwriting Quality, members of the CSPIU team as well as the Regional Management teams to detect underwriting deficiencies and trends.
Operate on an independent basis with minimal supervision; while taking the responsibility to learn new skills that would benefit the position.
Lead the team in reviews for Declinations and Not Accepted accounts, along with other regional specific reports
Additional Responsibilities:
Provide support to the underwriting leadership team and frontline underwriters.
Support underwriting precision, corporate sales and loss ratio goals.
Recognize the needs of the group and offers support to co-workers to achieve corporate objectives.
Assist in onboarding and training of new staff.
Assist the Manager of Underwriting Quality in managing the relationship with our vendors.
Assist the Director of UW Operations and Manager of Underwriting Quality in completing Regional Underwriting analysis.
Performs other duties as assigned

What you need
Bachelor's degree preferred. 7-10 years of experience both new and renewal business in commercial lines underwriting. Underwriting experience with small commercial and middle market sized accounts, as well as all lines of business and varying coverages and target markets.
Salary Range: $75,000-$123,000
The final salary to be paid and position within the internal salary range is reflective of the employee's work experience, their geographic location, education, certification(s), scope and responsibilities in the role, and additional qualifications.
