Responsibilities

We are currently searching for a Senior Commercial Multi-line Package Underwriter to join our Underwriting Team. In this position, you will be responsible for evaluating, selecting, and pricing new and renewal business based on company standards and within granted underwriting authority.

Qualifications

  • Candidates must have a minimum of 10 years of experience underwriting medium to large middle market Package accounts, with a working knowledge of manufacturing, real estate, and distribution risks.

  • Extensive knowledge of Commercial Package underwriting risk assessment, rules, rates, and coverage forms. Working knowledge of Automobile, Workers Compensation, and Umbrella a plus.

  • Ability to assist in training and development of underwriting staff.

  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.

  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.

Under general direction, the Software Engineer develops Web based applications, including online customer service, to enable agency components to deliver their services online. The candidate will provide support for the implementation of interfaces to Web-based applications.
