The Bank of America CTO Engineering team is seeking a Senior UI/UX Engineer to develop a comprehensive and cohesive user-experience strategy for internal clients using our strategic Hosting Platforms. The ideal candidate should be able to synthesize complex and abstract business requirements into a coherent, user-centric design and client experience.
Accountable for the strategy, development and implementation of Bank of America's Hosting UI/UX strategy.
Conduct user interviews and surveys across multiple teams and organizations.
Translate concepts into user flows, wireframes, mockups and prototypes that lead to intuitive user experiences.
Prepared to gather feedback and iterate with new functionality in accordance with user-testing.
Effectively manage a large team of developers leveraging agile and DevOps best practices.
10+ years of experience in UX/UI development and design
Extensive experience in using UX design best practices.
Skilled programmer with an eye for creativity, innovation and industry trends.
Must be comfortable leading a geographically dispersed team of developers and designers.
Expert in rapid iteration process environments (DevOps, CI/CD, Agile)
Experience developing across multiple different platforms
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Able to ask smart questions, take risks and champion new ideas.
Bachelor's degree in engineering and/or design disciplines.
Experience working in a financial industry. Experience from other similar-sized enterprises welcomed as well.

Open to travelling ~20% of the time.
ITIL certification a plus.
Project Management Experience a plus.
