Senior Ui/Ux Developer

Summary Description

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior UI/UX Angular Developer to join our team and play a key role in the design and development of our web applications. As a Senior UI/UX Angular Developer, you will be responsible for creating intuitive and visually appealing user interfaces, ensuring an exceptional user experience, and optimizing application performance.

This position will work @Flex (a combination of both in the office and at home) based out of our Kansas City, MO office.

What you'll do

• Serve as a key contributor as the team builds and extends custom software solutions using modern languages and cloud technologies.

• Implement best practices and industry standards for UI/UX design, including accessibility, performance optimization, and cross-browser compatibility.

• Stay up-to-date with the latest trends, technologies, and frameworks in UI/UX design and front-end development.

• Work closely with backend developers to integrate front-end components with server-side logic.

• Work closely with a Software Architect to develop to build extensible, scalable, and maintainable solutions for our organization

• Maintain a clear and consistent feedback loop with team leads, architect, and product management.

• Follows all applicable laws and regulations.

• Performs other duties and projects as assigned.

What you'll bring

• Proven experience with Angular (or related technologies such as Vue.JS or React with a willingness to learn Angular)

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS, JavaScript/TypeScript, and related web technologies

• 5+ years of work-related experience in software delivery

• Solid understanding of RESTful APIs and asynchronous programming

• Strong organizational and time management skills

• Flexible and easily adapts to change

• Works well in a team environment

• Solid communication skills, both verbal and written

• High school diploma or GED required

Bonus Points

• Hands on experience with cloud platforms, preferably Microsoft Azure

• Experience creating mockups, clickable wireframes, interactive prototypes in tools such as Figma

• Previous experience in the financial industry

• Experience with C# & .Net a plus
