Sr. UI Software Developer is a position that is an aggregate position for all developer roles. Our front-end engineering work is done mostly in React and Redux, while our backend stack consists of Python and Go, developing enterprise and SaaS products. Responsibilities:

Architect, design and develop UI for enterprise life cycle management of Applications
Deliver best of the class user experience to the customers, with a keen eye for aesthetics
Develop a deep and wholesome understanding of customer use cases and design innovative solutions for customer requirements
Work on defining functionality that is easy-to-use, intuitive to customers
Work closely with UX design, backend development and product management teams to deliver high-quality products in a fast-paced environment

Requirements:

Experience with developing maintainable and long-lasting code
Extensive experience developing Single Page Applications using Javascript, HTML5 and CSS3
In-depth knowledge of JavaScript and its ecosystem
Experience with React.js, Redux and D3.js
Knowledge of REST API and some familiarity with any server-side language and databases is preferred

Qualifications and Experience:

5-10 years of experience designing and developing front-end applications is required.

What you will do As a Frontend Software Engineer, you'll join a self-organizing team to design, build, deliver and maintain software in our banking platform. Together with your team members, you will be responsible for delivering end-to-end features, spanning from front-end to API implementation. * Design, build, and maintain features end-to-end in the business banking platform. * Building dashboards and digital products using Micro front end architecture principles. * You would work with fellow Architects, Engineers to effectively plan and execute on new features with stability, scalability, testability, and performance in mind. * You would contribute to the architecture of a complex online banking platform. * You would be working on migrating our microapps to Axure cloud platform. * You would make design/coding decisions keeping customer experience in the forefront. * Takes feedback from code review and apply changes to meet standards. * Conducts code reviews to provide guidance on engineering best practices and compliance with development procedures. * Accountable for ensuring all aspects of product development follow compliance and security best practices. * Anticipates and communicates blockers and delays before they require escalation. * You would ensure the delivery of a quality product. * You would have opportunities to lead/collaborate with different teams. * You would have opportunity to explore plethora of tool sets within U.S. Bank. Preferred skills/experience * Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model. * Extensive experience in Response Web development using React. * Extensive hands-on experience in ReactJS, EcmaScript 6 and above. * Extensive experience on creating Micro front end applications. * Modern JS (browser + Node.js), CSS, SCSS and HTML5. * Good Experience in NextJS / other Javascript frameworks. * Front end state management Redux, Flux, ContextAPI, etc. * Client API GrapQL, Apollo Client, Axios, Fetch wrapper etc. * Knowledge of accessibility(A11y) and hands on experience with implementation along with supporting tools. WCAG 2.0 and above ADA compliance tools. * Understanding the architecture of web applications, what's going on under the hood * Knowledge of OOP and patterns. * At least a basic understanding of web application performance Tools and libraries, cache management, state management. * SCSS / CSS 3, Style components. * Webpack 4 and above. * Artifactory. * Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token. * Familiarity with modern front-end build pipelines and CICD tools like Jenkins, Cloudbees etc. * Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc. * Familiarity with code versioning tools (GIT).
