Treasury Money Movement Analysts are responsible for all money movement activities needed to execute payments on behalf of our buyer and supplier customers. The analyst works

closely with our reconciliation team to ensure amounts and timing match expectations, and take corrective action when they do not. This position is responsible for the timely response to funding or payment inquiries, and communicating directly with customers, partners or vendors to achieve a positive outcome. The analyst fosters and manages relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

Job Duties:

  • Primary:

  • Recommend process enhancements to improve business practices.

  • Provide backup support for their team members; cross-trained in multiple areas.

  • Timely and accurate processing of all assigned daily activities.

  • Assist manager with ad-hoc projects.

  • Ensure files/data are stored accurately and securely for future reference.

  • Ensure proper separation of duties and controls are in place and followed.

  • Train new team members.

  • Subject matter expert on current processes/procedures.

  • Timely and courteous response to all buyers and suppliers for any money movement

services, processes or issues. Resolve any reconciliation issues stemming from

incident management.

  • Responsible for input on long-term strategic and operational direction.

  • Comprehend complex concepts and develop into processes/procedures.

  • Represent Treasury in cross-functional discussions.

  • Secondary:

  • Facilitate non-standard customer money movement activities.

  • Investigate, decision, and resolve aged, outstanding payments.

  • Monitoring and tracking of money movement transactions with system uploads to reflect


  • Timely and accurate processing of all assigned daily money movement activities with

minimal guidance.

  • Timely processing and accurate decisioning of payment exceptions.

  • Autonomous decision making related to assigned daily money movement activities.

  • Assist with defining proper separation of duties and controls. Monitor for effectiveness.

  • Identify and act as lead on ad-hoc projects.

  • Lead and support all aspects of change management.

Areas of Impact:

  • Responsible for short-term tactical activities related to money movement.

  • Autonomous decision making related to assigned daily money movement activities.

  • Responsible for input on long-term strategic and operational direction.


  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or related field. Associate degree and or related


  • Banking, trust, or payment services experience.

  • Customer service experience, initiating communication to internal/external customers.

  • Must be self-motivated.

  • Experience in Finance or Accounting to include working with: E-commerce transactions, ACH

debit and ACH credit bank and transactions, month end close, positive pay

exceptions, ACH Debit Blocks

  • A minimum of three (3) to five (5) years of experience is typically required to perform at expectation

Technical Skills:

  • Intermediate proficiency with MS Excel is desired.

  • Intermediate proficiency with other MS Office products. (Access, Word, PowerPoint,

SharePoint, Visio)


  • Commercial online banking management (initiating transactions, research, etc.).

  • Consistently meet deadlines.

  • Efficient verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills required.

  • Knowledge of and experience working with NACHA rules/regulations.

  • Research, analyze, organize and prioritize work with guidance.

  • Work well in a highly-collaborative team environment.

  • Collaboration across all internal teams that impact money movement.

  • Strong relationship building, customer service, and troubleshooting skills.

  • Attention to detail evident in previous experience.

  • Strong desire to learn and aptitude to understand complex processes, with a focus on continuous improvement.

  • Ability to manage difficult conversations and elevated customer issues while simultaneously

representing the company and providing a great customer experience

  • Good teamwork and leadership skills are essential in order to motivate different groups of people to fulfill their responsibilities within a given time frame

SUMMARY This position is in strategic Global Operations with direct support of Payment Services, primarily consisting of wire processing, money market and bank sweeps, ACH processing, and Reg E processing. The role will include processes that support the bank & retail brokerage franchise and will interact with key outsource and third-party service providers. The associate will need expertise with dealing with client escalations for sweeps and cash settlements, domestic & international wires and check clearing, ACH, debit card and check disbursements. This role requires high attention to detail and working under strict deadlines to support the various products. The position will support department audits/regulatory exams and will liaise with key Retail Branch Network, Customer Service, Product, and Technology partners. RESPONSIBILITIES * Provide supervisory support for ACH funds transfers, debit card/check disbursement processing, Reg E disputes, and ACH/Debit Card settlements, fed adjustments, money market and FDIC sweep funds, wires, check clearing and exception processing * Responsible for supervising the Payment Operations Team, ensuring that they follow all established procedures. Directs the team as they review and make decisions to apply the appropriate processes within all Payment Operations applications ensuring compliance with federal rules and regulations while meeting specified deadlines * Assessing, devising, and communicating management action plans to address operational risk and associated exposure * Ensuring overall best practice execution and that daily operating deadlines and quality control measures are met and kept within established service levels * Presenting monthly business reviews and project updates to executive management and leadership groups * Analyzes and reports on service levels, key volume indicators, and key risk indicators as may be defined from time to time. Recommends and, in some cases, initiates action to address adverse performance issues, or to optimize performance. * Hires, develops, trains and retains qualified individuals.
