The Treasury Executive is responsible for managing all of HP's Capital Markets, including capital structure analysis/development, bond issuance, share repurchase, revolver execution, interest rate risk strategy and management including interest rate swap strategy development and execution, managing HP's bank relationship model and Other Income and Expense forecasting.

Roles and Responsibilities:

  • Lead the cross-geography Capital Markets team

  • Direct HP's debt issuance and interest rate risk management strategy

  • Capital structure planning and company-wide strategic integration of capital investment alternatives/uses

  • Evaluate the economics of complex financial strategies

  • HP's share repurchase program including valuation, program strategy and implementation, and potential direct interaction with the Treasurer and CFO

  • Proactively identify areas for focus and produce persuasive, data-driven arguments to support good decisions

  • Develop analytical tools and financial models to support decision making

  • Treasury policies and procedures

  • Treasury program delivery through practical application of complex subject matter knowledge with limited guidance

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • A Bachelor's degree or equivalent diploma, preferably with a business, finance, and scientific major

  • An MBA or CFA is desired

  • 10+ years related experience in large corporate treasury (prior capital markets execution experience highly preferred)

  • Team management or team leading experience

Knowledge and Skills:

  • Ability to define and shape HP's capital structure in various business and economic environments.

  • Excellent understanding of economics and financial markets

  • Experience with financial planning and derivatives

  • Excellent project management, problem solving, strong analytical and strategic thinking skills, and the ability to execute a project within the scope of overall strategies

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES Global Cloud Services (GCS) is an IT organization within SAP responsible for running SAP's backend technology including the operations of data centers, the technical platforms for all SAP Cloud solutions incl. services worldwide and managing all relevant Hyperscalers. The GCS Partner Management team actively steers our Partner Ecosystem, introducing a multi-year partner strategy and executing partner success tactics that holistically caters a "win/win" to the strategic partners needs of all GCS business units in order to ensure the best strategic sourcing from our partners and suppliers across all cloud service domains (hyperscalers, hardware, software, and professional services). The role will directly report into SAP's Vice President Partner Management managing our most strategic GSC's partners. Since this new role is the only Partner Management representative in Palo Alto, there will also be frequent alignment with the GCS architecture group and the SVP GCS on all relevant Partner topics. A successful candidate (f/m/d) will be an individual with deep background in successful partner relationship management, vendor management and strong market knowledge in the enterprise Infrastructure space. The ideal candidate (f/m/d) must have experience with major partners at the executive level as well as working across all levels of the organization and will play a key role on the GCS internal alignment.
