The Corporate Treasury team is growing and is seeking a detail-oriented Senior Treasury Investment & Financial Analyst. The Senior Treasury Investment & Financial Analyst is responsible for performing various cash, investment, float income and yield forecast modeling and reporting, investment management and analysis, financial analysis, bank fee account analysis and metrics. This position reports to the Corporate Treasury & Investment Manager.

Primary Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for the performing and further developing of various cash and investment 12 month rolling forecast models, schedules, dashboards and monthly, quarterly reporting for multiple entities

  • Maintain investment/float income and yield forecast models for multiple entities

  • Maintain long term investment portfolio amortization schedules and track individual investments to stay abreast of maturing investments. Make recommendations on reinvestment maturities based upon current market conditions

  • Maintain monthly schedules of bank and investment account balances, interest earnings, AA fees, Treasury dashboard and various other metrics

  • Work closely with Accounting team to provide guidance and understanding of investment types, maturities and mark-to-market to ensure accurate GL entries are booked

  • Provide required quarterly cash and investment forecast reporting to Senior Management

  • Monitor markets and economy for key indicators for Federal Reserve interest rate increases, research US and global economic forecasts and industry reports to build scenarios into investment forecast models

  • Monitor various interest rates to ensure that current investment selections are optimal

  • Support the Investment Policy Compliance process by tracking, monitoring and reporting investments to ensure that they fall within set parameters

  • Analyze monthly bank account analysis fees for service pricing reasonableness and accuracy and identify trends

  • Calculate monthly net interest earned after fees and report to management

  • Develop and maintain Treasury procedures

  • Ensure compliance with established internal controls, policies and procedures.

  • Provide support for audit requests as needed

  • Perform various projects and additional tasks as needed

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in performing forecasts for cash and investments

  • Experience with investment management and analysis, financial analysis, bank and investment balance reporting, and bank fee analysis

  • Thorough understanding of financial markets and various investment vehicles

  • Knowledge of Investment Accounting

  • Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel

  • High attention to detail, accuracy and tight deadlines

  • Possess analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills

  • Self-driven, quick learner, team-player, flexible, upbeat and energetic

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Corporate Treasury, Investments and Financial Analysis experience preferred

  • Treasury Management System (TMS) experience is a plus

  • ERP system experience is a plus

Education/Certification/License:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics

The Corporate Treasury Analyst is responsible for the initiation of wire and ACH transfers, bank and investment account balance monitoring, cash positioning and short-term forecasting, performing investments, daily reconciliation of all bank accounts, maintaining bank account analysis fee schedules, bank administration, researching of issues with bank and assisting with testing efforts for our Treasury Management System implementation. Primary Duties and Responsibilities: (other duties may be assigned) * Responsible for operational cash management functions, to include initiating various ACH, wire and investment transactions in support of the collection and disbursement processes * Ensure that all ACH transactions processed by A/P have been reviewed, approved and are successfully transmitted to and received by the bank * Monitor and report daily cash and investment balances * Perform daily cash positioning, short-term forecasting, initiation and monitoring of overnight investments while staying abreast of the expected future outflows and inflows of cash. Take appropriate actions needed to ensure that the accounts are fully funded * Provide support in maintaining adequate liquidity and investing any short term excess cash as directed * Perform the daily bank to G/L cash reconciliation process and various month-end closing procedures * Perform check deposits via the remote depository scanner and track them on the deposit log * Research positive-pay exception notifications and ACH fraud filter items * Assist with maintenance of monthly schedules of bank and investment account balances, interest earnings, account analysis bank fees, dashboards and various other metrics * Serve as Bank Administrator to initiate user access changes in various online bank portals * Work with the banks and/or other departments to research and resolve various issues * Maintain Treasury department's electronic records of bank statements, bank documents, signature cards, etc. * Support the implementation and testing of the new Treasury Management System (TMS) * Develop and maintain Treasury procedures * Ensure compliance with established internal controls, policies and procedures * Provide support for audit requests as needed * Perform various projects and additional tasks as needed Required Qualifications: * Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or Economics * Minimum of 3 years of experience in Corporate Treasury, Accounting, Finance and/or Banking * Experience performing various treasury, cash management and accounting functions to include wires, ACHs, cash positioning, bank reconciliations, bank balance reporting, and/or bank fee analysis * Experience with online banking platforms * Proficiency in Microsoft Excel * High attention to detail, accuracy, organization and tight deadlines * Possess analytical, critical-thinking and problem-solving skills * Self-driven, quick learner, team-player, flexible, upbeat and energetic * Solid ability to prioritize and work effectively on multiple tasks * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * Flexible team-player with ability to work cooperatively with other departments Preferred Qualifications: * Corporate Treasury experience preferred * Treasury Management System (TMS) experience is a plus * ERP system experience is a plus Education/Certification/License: * Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Economics Travel Requirement: * 0% This job description has been written to provide an accurate reflection of the current job and to include the general nature of work performed.
