Marsh and McLennan Companies ("MMC") is currently seeking a talented and motivated Senior Treasury Analyst to join their team. In this role, you will work directly with the banks to open, close and amend bank accounts and services for all accounts held by MMC and its operating companies. Responsibilitiesinclude but not limited to:
Maintain MMC and operating companies' bank accounts. Ensure all bank accounts are established in compliance with corporate policy while coordinating the implementation of banking services via preparation of documentation (letters, proprietary bank forms and corporate/organizational documentation).
Act as Treasury lead to the Marsh & McLennan Agency ("MMA") line of business ensuring required integration work, ongoing support and special projects are supported.
Coordinate Treasury operations for MMC's PAC (Political Action Committee) including coordinating with Government Relations and Finance to process check disbursements, monitor activity in bank account to identify any aberrations from the documented processes (i.e. SLAs for Payroll, Finance, Treasury and Government Relations).
Responsible for understanding banking legislation, standard practices and legal documentation. This includes the identification of all issues within banking agreements, and working with the banks and internal Legal and Compliance groups to standardize and consolidate banking agreements and manage Know Your Client ("KYC") requirements and documentation across MMC and all operating companies.
Provide support on the global Bank Fee Analysis software to assist in bank pricing compliance/tracking and ongoing management reporting.
Dispatch daily wires (FX, CP maturity, investments, tax payments, interest, etc.) initiated by the cash management team.
Manage the Transfer Agent relationship, including balancing MMC's outstanding share position and quarterly dividend payments, issuing required reports and assisting employees and shareholders with related issues and inquiries.
Utilize strong analytical and research skills when solving discrepancies or issues that arise.
Support and contribute to internal banking practices, help identify inefficiencies/deficiencies in the current process and develop streamlined and cost effective process improvements.
Ad hoc projects and support internal and external audit requests and quarterly SOX reviews as directed.
Bachelor's degree in accounting/finance.
Certified Treasury Professional Designation "CTP" desirable.
3+ years of finance or treasury operations experience, preferably with a large multinational organization or bank.
Technical treasury skills including treasury management system knowledge is a plus
Strong attention to detail, highly organized, and stellar time-management skills
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
Strong in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint
