Senior Treasury Analyst

The mandate of the HPE Treasury department is to manage and safeguard the lifeblood of the company, its cash. The Americas Treasury Operations team executes this mission for all countries in the Americas region, but because this includes the US corporate parent, we also manage operations for the company's $13B long-term debt position, $4B commercial paper program, and $19B hedging program. Our team has an opening for a Senior Treasury Analyst in the Houston office supporting overall departmental objectives and initiatives. We are looking for candidates with strong financial acumen, good business sense and the highest level of integrity.
Applies treasury subject matter expertise in one or more areas of specialization to contribute to treasury programs of high complexity.
Analyzes financial data to summarize findings, draw conclusions, and make treasury program recommendations to project teams.
Manages treasury projects that impact the organization in multiple countries, regions, and/or businesses and provides review and recommendations on current treasury processes and technologies that facilitate operational efficiencies.
Is accountable for impact analysis of treasury programs and initiatives.
Works with tax, legal, and audit functions on areas related to tax planning, foreign exchange, risk management, and treasury solutions.
Develops relationships with key business and functional leaders.
Education and Experience Required:
First-level university degree or equivalent experience; advanced university degree preferred.
6+ years related experience in finance, audit, and/or accounting.
Relevant certification preferred, CFA, CTP etc.
Knowledge and Skills:
Systematic understanding of treasury processes, as well as other finance functions.
In-depth knowledge of the legal and regulatory environment as it relates to treasury activities.
Excellent communication, leadership, and influence skills.
Strong project management, problem solving, natural curiosity, analytical and strategic thinking skills.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office tools, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
